Kris and Kylie Jenner are facing criticism online after they went to the supermarket together to experience 'normal things' in the latest instalment of The Kardashians.

After visiting the supermarket, they went onto a petrol station and got their car washed, where Kris said: "This is like Disneyland. We have to bring the kids here."

Following the pair’s day of running 'normal' errands, people have taken to social media to call the family out for their privilege, branding the scene 'cringe' and 'out of touch'.

One penned on Twitter: "Watching Kylie and Kris Jenner have a day of fun doing s**t like grocery shopping and pumping their own gas has me cringing so much lol like almost as bad as Kendall cutting the cucumber last week."

"Kylie and Kris calling going to the grocery store and checking out and filling their cart an experience is the most white rich privileged thing I’ve seen," another wrote.

A third added: "Kylie and Kris really called the drive-thru car wash a tourist attraction, rich people really do live on another planet."

"#TheKardashians thought the 'day of normal errands' with Kris and Kylie would be cute but it's SO GROSS,” another posted. "We know they're out of touch, we don't need to see just how out of touch.

"Kris didn't know how to use her credit card and was so excited to push the cart. Is she 5?"

A viewer echoed: "I’m losing it at the scene of Kris and Kylie going to the grocery store. Like this is the most out of touch thing I’ve ever seen in my life."

Despite the criticism, a fans came to their defence and applauded that they acknowledged their lifestyles are different than their fans.

One fan penned: "I love the way kris and kylie dont even try to pretend like theyre normal and actually having fun doing normal things and seem so genuine whereas Kendall tries to act like shes so relatable but shes actually the least relatable" (sic).

Someone commented: "It has nothing to do with race just privilege and money. There are people who are wealthy of all races who are famous who haven't gone to the grocery store in years due to the same reasons the Kardashions don't.

"The only difference is the Kardashions did in an episode of their reality TV show and were excited for the experience they hadn't had in a long time. Get over it people!" (sic).
