Kim Kardashian has been accused of shedding CGI tears in an emotional moment on The Kardashians.

The second season of the reality series premiered earlier this week, and fans have been left divided over an emotional moment on the show.

The first episode tackled topics like the birth of Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s son through surrogacy during the cheating scandal which was revealed just months earlier.

The episode saw Kim becoming visibly upset as she explained that Khloe shouldn’t be subjected to such treatment from her partner.

But one TikToker tapped into a theory that her tears were fabricated, causing fans to discuss whether or not Kim’s tears were actually real.

The video, which has garnered 2.4 million views since the time of posting, showed the 41-year-old media personality discussing her thoughts to Khloe about her relationship.

Kim says to her sister: “I promise you, you will have everything that you want, out of this life because no one deserves it like you do.”

During the clip, the TikTok user points out how a tear suddenly appears at the bottom middle of Kim’s eye – rather than in the corner where it would naturally form.

Kim then begins to dry her eyes, but ‘doesn’t touch’ the tear in the middle of her eye, which instead rolls down her cheek.

Michelle Driscoll, who posted the video, claimed in the viral clip that that particular tear was CGI as Kim did not appear to wipe it away during the moment, like she did with the rest of her tears.

Michelle captioned the video: “Y'all please tell me you see this CGI tear on The Kardashians,” leaving fans to agree or disagree with the TikToker’s thoughts.

Another simply dubbed the moment: "Teargate 2022," while someone else added: "Wow you have a lot of time on your hands."

Elsewhere in the episode, viewers saw Khloe welcoming her second child, a son, whom she shares with Tristan alongside their four-year-old daughter True. 

Khloe said a 'dark cloud was looming over' after it became clear that he had cheated on Khloe once again, having fathered a child with Maralee Nichols.

Kim joined the 38-year-old in the delivery room for the birth of her second child, while Khloe invited Tristan Thompson to visit their baby son in hospital shortly after his birth.
