Kylie Jenner has revealed how her presumed public fall-out with Jordyn Woods left her feeling ‘heartbroken’ after the model admitted to kissing Tristan Thompson.
The year is 2019: Marvel finally released Avengers: Endgame in theatres, the Game of Thrones finale divided the internet and a humble egg overtook Kylie Jenner, 27, to become the most-liked image on Instagram.
A month after losing her social media crown, the Kardashians star also seemingly called time on her friendship with Woods, 27.

The pair reportedly met through mutual friend Jaden Smith, 26, just before starting high school, Cosmopolitan writes, and did everything from attending New York Fashion Week together to exchanging friendship vows in Peru.
But in February 2019, rumors began circulating that Woods had reportedly made out with Canadian basketball player Tristan Thompson, 33, who was the boyfriend of Jenner’s older sister, Khloé Kardashian, 40, at the time.
Thompson initially denied the story, but he and Kardashian eventually broke up due to a myriad of cheating allegations.
A month after the allegations initially surfaced, Woods appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith’s now-defunct Red Table Talk show to confirm she and Thompson ‘never’ hooked up but claimed they did kiss on the lips.
The Good American businesswoman later took to social media to accuse Woods of breaking up her family.
“Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you're going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!” she wrote on Twitter.
Kardashian later confessed that Woods was not to blame for her subsequent break-up, admitting in a confessional on The Kardashians: “I have forgiven Jordyn. Of course, I was upset at the time, and we moved on”
In June 2021, Jenner confirmed during an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that falling out with Woods was ‘kind of an overnight thing’ before stepping out for dinner with her two years later, as per E! Online.
And now, the Kylie Cosmetics mogul has further lifted the lid on how it felt to temporarily ‘lose’ her bestie.
“I was heartbroken,” she confessed during her recent ELLE magazine cover story. “To lose that person felt really lonely, but I had to go through that.
“I learned so much, gained so much independence, and was there for myself. It helped me grow up a little bit, because we were so attached at the hip.”
Jenner said that their subsequent fall-out had given the pair some ‘needed distance’, allowing them to mature as people and for Woods specifically to ‘spread her wings’.
She also stated that she and her model BFF always tried to ‘try to talk things through’, adding: "Anytime something happened, good or bad, and I needed to call someone, it would always be her."
