Keanu Reeves reveals he had a freaky paranormal experience when he a little kid

We can only assume he roundhouse kicked that ghoulie back down to the depths of hell.

Keanu Reeves recently sat down for an Ask Me Anything (AMA) chat on Reddit, and one clever person asked the John Wick star if he'd ever come across anything that goes bump in the night.

Reeves' answer was a simple one: Yes.

"Yes. When I was a little kid I was sitting in a room with a nanny and I thought I saw a ghost in the doorway and I looked over at my nanny and she looked really scared," Reeves wrote.

He added: "I didn’t know what the heck was going on."

We can only assume Hollywood's leading action superstar roundhouse, kicked that ghoulie back to oblivion.

But then again, he was a little kid, and the years of training for movies like John Wick and The Matrix were yet to occur.

This isn't the first time the 58-year-old actor has mentioned this paranormal moment from his childhood.

In a 2014 interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the Point Break star told the TV host all about the time he made contact with the dead.

"I'm probably, like, 6, 7 years old, we'd come from Australia," Reeves told Kimmel.

"Renata, [our] nanny, in the bedroom, my sister is asleep, she's sitting over there, I'm hanging out. "There was a doorway, and all of a sudden, this jacket comes waving through the doorway, this empty jacket — there's no body, there's no legs, it's just there. And then, it disappears."

He added: "I was a little kid, and I thought, 'Okay, that's interesting,' and I looked over at the nanny, and she [was making this terrified face].

"And I'm like, 'Oh, wow, so that was real.'"

Well, we'd be moving out of that house quick-smart if it were us.

We can SO see Keanu doing this.

In the same AMA, Reeves was also asked if there was any role he had ever regretted turning down.

And, while he didn't have an answer for that question, the response he gave was oh-so-much sweeter.

"No, but I did always want to play Wolverine," Reeves replied.

Great ghosts, we'd love to see that. So, Marvel, hear us out.

We know Hugh Jackman has hung up his adamantium-tipped claws for future films.

We know you're looking for someone new to pick up the mantle.

We know you want someone younger to step into Wolvy's shoes.

But please, for the love of God, give Keanu his wish.

Sincerely, every movie fan ever.
