Justin Bieber Gives Update On Wife Hailey Following Illness Caused By Blood Clot Found On Her Brain

Justin Bieber has given his fans an update on the health of his wife, Hailey, a week after the model confirmed she'd been hospitalised after suffering a blood clot on her brain.

During the latest stop on his Justice world tour, Bieber took a moment mid-show to address the situation.

Bieber explained that despite the scary health emergency, the 25-year-old was making a full recovery.

"Most of you probably know or have seen the news about my wife," he told fans at the Denver show on Thursday, March 17, adding, "But she’s okay, she’s good, she’s strong."

He went on to explain the the situation had been understandably traumatic for the couple, before citing their faith as having helped them pull through.

"It’s been scary, you know, it’s been really scary," he said. "But I know for a fact that God has her in the palm of his hands, and that’s a good thing."

Bieber later shared a clip of his comments to Instagram, telling his fans 'love you guys'.

Hailey was admitted to hospital last week after suffering 'stroke-like symptoms' that affected her movement while eating breakfast with her husband. The model later confirmed that she had been diagnosed with having a blood clot on her brain, but reassured her followers that she was returning to full health and had been discharged from hospital to recover at home.

She did not confirm the cause of the clot, but wrote in an Instagram post: "My body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours."

"Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!" she said.

She also thanked friends, family and well-wishers who expressed concern.

Bieber's health emergency came just weeks after her husband was forced to cancel two Las Vegas dates of his Justice world tour after testing positive for Covid-19. He'd since recovered, and had most recently played a string of LA dates prior to his wife falling ill.

The tour, which has been rescheduled a number of times as a result of the pandemic, is set to cover 30 countries across 117 dates over the next year, concluding in Krakow, Poland on March 25, 2023.
