Jeremy Renner shared another update from his hospital bed following his snowplough accident on New Year's Day.

The Marvel actor shared a video of himself getting a head massage while in hospital, courtesy of his mum Valerie Cearley and sister, Kym Renner.

He is currently in the intensive care unit recovering.

“A ‘not no great’ ICU DAY, turned to amazing spa day with my sis and mama,” he tweeted alongside the clip. “Thank you sooooo much.”

After sharing the video, fans sent lovely messages to the Dahmer actor on Twitter. “Sending all the love and support! Wish you a speedy recovery,” one fan tweeted alongside two love heart emojis.

“It's nice to see you with humour,” another fan wrote, referencing the bond between Renner, his mum and sister. “It's so beautiful. I pray for you every day.”

While a third penned: “Love you so much, get well soon.”

The 51-year-old Hawkeye star was airlifted to hospital on New Year’s Day and was later said to be in a ‘critical but stable’ condition.

“We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023," a representative told Deadline.

Jeremy Renner posted an update from his hospital bed.

They continued: "Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families.

"They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”

Renner was helping a driver who was stuck in the snow when he was hit by his 14,000lb snow plough. He has since undergone two surgeries at a Nevada hospital.

Over the weekend, The Washoe County sheriff's office confirmed they had 'responded to a traumatic injury in the area of Mt Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada'.

Renner is best known for his role as Hawkeye in the MCU.

The sheriff's office said a powerful winter storm had dumped more than two feet (0.6 metres) of snow on the area from Saturday night into Sunday morning.

They added that Renner was the only partially injured in the incident on Mt Rose Highway, and the investigation team would continue ‘looking into the circumstances’.

On Tuesday (3 January), the actor shared a selfie from his hospital bed to thank fans for their support as he recovers.

He wrote on Instagram: “Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”
