Adam Sandler is possibly one of the most familiar faces in the comedy genre.

The sheer number of films he has both appeared in and produced has made him almost impossible to miss over the last few decades.

Sandler has most recently come into the limelight for his role as basketball coach Stanley Sugarman in the 2022 film Hustle. His portrayal of the character is a break away from his usual roles where he is generally known for playing more light-hearted comedy roles, in movies such as Happy Gilmore or The Wedding Singer.

So, with such a jam-packed career behind him, many are intrigued to find out how much Adam Sandler is worth.

What Is Adam Sandler’s Net Worth?

The 55-year-old has amassed a fortune over his career.

According to celebrity net worth, Sandler has a staggering net worth of $420 million (£353 million), putting him up there with some of the richest actors in the world.

Although this is a huge figure, Adam Sandler has certainly kept himself busy over the years. The actor has taken a lead role in 68 movies, and been on the production team of 82.

His busy career obviously hasn’t gone unrewarded, as the star now consistently earns $25 million +, for his movies.

For example, looking at the film Anger Management (2003), the actor earned $25 million for the movie plus another 25% of the gross.

So after the film's release, Sandler's total paycheck would have come to at least a whopping $60 million.

His Netflix deal back in 2014 continued to boost his enormous wealth, as he signed a four-film $250 million production deal with the streaming service, he then did the same again in 2017.

The money just seems to keep coming in for the comedy star.

So, when did Sandler start becoming popular for his signature comedy roles?

After touring the country as a stand-up comedian, Sandler was picked up by Saturday Night Live (SNL) as a writer in 1990. He then went on to become a cast member and became a massive hit for audiences.

Despite appearing in films throughout his SNL career, Sandler’s breakthrough role came in the comedy Billy Maddison. Although the movie received pretty poor reviews, it was successful at the box office, and Sandler has continued to play the main character in comedy films to this day.
