AI creates the 'Celebrity Street Fighter' video game and people are desperate to play it.

Ah yes, technology has done its thing once again and thrown something entirely bizarre, but nonetheless extremely fascinating, our way.

The AI game in question, created by Midjourney, sees 20 different well-known faces available as playable avatars ranging from actors and politicians to musicians and internet sensations. Check it out:

The AI was uploaded to Reddit earlier this week titled: "Celebrity Street Fighter."

Using the easily recognizable game layout alongside some nostalgia-inducing pixellated artwork all to the backdrop of the well-known theme music - it's clear that this peculiar recreation definitely caught the attention of the internet.

Coming up first is Donald Trump who can be seen with clenched fists and a ripped open blue suit showing off some pretty jacked-up biceps.

    Elon Musk and Taylor Swift.

Pope Francis is next striking an action pose seemingly surrounded by flames.

Twitter's very own Elon Musk is up next on the roster, donning a red sleeveless vest and a stern scowl to match.

Taylor Swift comes fourth with golden locks flowing in the wind, followed by Joe Biden in a karate kit.

Game of Throne's Peter Dinklage is sixth shown in a slightly different cartoon style to the rest of the characters followed by Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China.

    Will Smith and Miley Cyrus.

Johnny Depp is up next in his Captain Jack Sparrow Pirates of the Caribbean get-up alongside Keanu Reeves - who looks pretty accurate if I'm being honest.

Tenth is pop icon Miley Cyrus, who I reckon looks more akin to P!nk or Madonna back in the day, but hey ho.

Will Smith with his game face on is next followed by Joe Rogan sporting an equally scary glare. After that we see the unlikely duo of Mark Zuckerberg in a skin-tight vest with matching headphones and a seriously jacked-up Lizzo.

Just six more to go now.

Tom Cruise followed the 'About Damn Time' singer and is joined by comedian Chris Farley, Vladimir Putin (along with a bear) and Hillary Clinton using an American flag as somewhat of a shield.

The last two on the list see an avatar-style Kanye West as well as Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, in blackface following a damaging resurfaced photo of him from 1990s.

Naturally, people were totally obsessed with the artificial intelligence rendering with one Reddit user writing: "I would play the sh*t outta this game."

A second quipped: "This would probably make for a hilarious game."

"This looks f*cking awesome," echoed a third while a fourth penned: "This is so good I need to see this in action!"

A final Reddit user declared: "Someone make this a real video game. NOW!"

    Would you play it?
