While you'd presume that all iPhones increase in quality each time a new model comes out, some have suggested this might not be the case.

Unless you have access to several different iPhone models, it's unlikely you'll be able to properly evaluate just how different it is from the last.

But one guy did the hard work for us and demonstrated how an iPhone 13 Pro, 14 Pro, 15 Pro and 16 Pro's cameras compare to each other.

In a new video posted to TikTok, content creator @yuta.tj23 put the four cell phones side-by-side and filmed the the same scene at the same time.

He then went on to show the results and, well, it's pretty hard to tell the difference between them - something that was echoed in the video's comments.

One person replied to the video that's been viewed almost six million times: "What is the difference?"

"It's the SAME THING," insisted another. A third added: "I really couldn't tell the difference."

A different person penned: "Tell me I’m not all there but they’re all the EXACT SAME !!"

Elsewhere a lot of people argued that the iPhone 13 Pro, which was released back in September 2021, was the best of the bunch.

"The 13 Pro actually was the best with how it handled the lights," one person said.

"13 is the best what heck iPhone were doing," questioned another TikTok user.

Someone else said: "Can someone please clear me on why the highlight control is better on the 13."

While it may seem like there's little difference between the four cameras, there has been changes made to them over the years.

A key difference between the iPhone 13 Pro and 14 Pro camera is that the newer device has a 48 megapixel (MP) sensor, compared to the 13's 12MP.

As a default a 14's images are still output at 12MP, but this can be amended on the cell phone's settings to be 24 or 48MP.

In regard to the difference between the 14 Pro and 15 Pro's camera, there's not as much of an upgrade.

Both have a triple lens set up with a 48MP main camera, and it's believed that the camera's sensors remained the same for the 15 (Apple never announced this, however).

Now, the 16 is technically the best of them all - as it should be.

The standard iPhone 15 Pro had a 3X tetraprism zoom, meaning you needed the Pro Max for 5X zoom, but this comes as standard for the 16 Pro, making it the first compact iPhone to have this feature.

While the features aren't glaringly obvious, we promise they're there!
