YK Osiris apologizes for 'violating Sukihana's boundaries' as he's filmed forcefully kissing her

A viral video shows him trying to kiss Sukihana

YK Osiris has issued an apology for his conduct after an incident in which he forcefully kissed TV personality Sukihana.

Sukihana, who was born Destiny Lanette Henderson, was recently sitting at a table during an event for the The Crew League.

Footage shows rapper YK Osiris, 24, rubbing her shoulders from behind before going in for a kiss, which she successfully avoids.

Sukihana, 31, can be heard to say 'oh my' into the mic before YK Osiris - whose real name is Osiris Jahkail Williams - went in for another kiss as he still has a hold of her shoulders.

Sukihana can be seen trying to turn her head away from him, however the rapper did manage to kiss her this time.

People sat nearby appear to laugh as the incident unfolds as YK Osiris can be seen moving away, also laughing, before high fiving someone.

The incident has caused outrage on social media, with many people expressing their disgust at the incident, pointing out that it sets a poor example about respecting boundaries.

And now, following the backlash, YK Osiris has since issued an apology on Instagram.

Writing in a post after deleting everything on his grid, the rapper wrote: “I understand the importance of consent and I am embarrassed by my behaviour. I take full responsibility and have made multiple attempts to apologise.

"I have the utmost admiration for Sukihana and it was never my intention to disrespect her.”

The post is currently the only post on the rapper's Instagram profile, which has 3 million followers. Comments have also been turned off on the post.

Sukihana has not explicitly addressed the incident on her social media channels.

However, she posted on Twitter after the incident, saying: "I stopped drinking yesterday but today I've been crying all day. I asked God to strengthen me and use me to help others and to order my steps in his word. I just want to go away for a while."

She later went back onto Twitter, writing: "I am hurt and I am scared to stand up for myself."

Sources told TMZ that Sukihana didn't know the rapper before the incident.
