A man who measures a whopping 7ft 1in tall has opened up about how his height impacts his day-to-day life.

With his late dad an impressive 6ft 9inch tall and his mom measuring 6ft, it was always pretty likely Beau Brown from Atlanta, Georgia would end up growing pretty tall.

The 30-year-old content creator explained he weighed 13lbs when he was born and was the 'biggest baby' a lot of people in the hospital had 'ever seen'.

"Once I hit 14 years old I was 6ft and then in 10 years I grew 10 inches and there were some extreme growing pains," he said.

Growing over 7ft is certainly an impressive feat - only 2,800 people in the world with a height above it - and given how the average male in the US measures 5ft 9inch according to Very Well Health, the 30-year-old has had to make some adjustments to accommodate for his stature.

Beau revealed he's had to make certain adaptations to day-to-day living situations which others of average height don't really have to think about, such as the height of his ceilings - 9ft - and a custom 9ft bed.

He's also had to opt for driving a Ford F50 Lightening truck and noted travelling in other situations is often 'horrible' as well as having to stay in 'hotels' use other people's 'showers' and 'even beds'.

"I have learned to duck. I do it very naturally; it's as easy as breathing," he added.

However, Beau claimed the 'only think that sucks is travelling' and he 'would not change being 7ft1in' and is 'super used to it'.

Although, while the content creator may be used to it, that doesn't mean members of the public who bump into him are - after all it's not everyday you see someone over 7ft.

Beau explained he gets looks and laughs when walking down the street and often gets asked the same three questions by people he bumps into.

You can probably guess them already, but the questions are: "How tall are you? Do you play basketball? What car do you drive?"

And he said he's often stopped by people to take photographs together too.

The content creator's partner, recruiter Sara is also very tall, measuring 6ft 1in, and the pair have welcomed their first child, four-month-old Delilah, who is also set to follow in her parents' footsteps, measuring 26 inches.
