Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha have been hit with split speculation after the mom-of-three was seen without her ring.
JD and Usha's lives were propelled into the limelight when JD was announced as Donald Trump's running mate during his 2024 presidential campaign.
At the age of 41, JD is up there as one of the youngest people in America to have ever accepted the nomination.
Their lives became of even more interest to the public when Trump became president and JD officially took on the role of VP.

Standing by his side through it all has been his wife Usha, whom he wed in 2014. They now shared three kids: Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.
While they've always appeared steadfast in their relationship, JD was at the center of some controversy last month after sharing a hug with Erika Kirk where she put her hand on the back of his head and seemingly ran he fingers through his hair.

The move was branded as 'inappropriate' by many.
In the weeks that have followed the ordeal, Usha has been seen without her wedding band on. A rep for the Second Lady has addressed the matter, telling People that Usha is 'a mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and forgets her ring sometimes'.
In light of people raising questions about their marriage, we're looking back at the JD and Usha's relationship.
Law school

The couple reportedly met while both studying law at Yale in 2010. They had both joined a discussion group on 'social decline in white America', BBC News reported.
In his memoir, JD said he 'fell hard' for his now-wife when they first met and described Usha as 'genetic anomaly' because of how many perfect qualities she has.
He also said he 'violated every rule of modern dating' and told her he was in love on their first date.
Wedding
Usha, neé Chilukuri, and JD wed in Kentucky in June 2014, a year after they both graduated from Yale.
They held both Christian and Hindu ceremonies, says Business Insider. Usha was born and raised Hindu and is believed to still practice the religion but JD recently spoke out about his hopes about her converting to Christianity.
Children

The couple welcomed their first child, Ewan, in June 2017, and their second son Vivek was born in 2020.
According to People the family celebrated Vivek's 4th birthday on the Senate floor in February 2024 when JD was an Ohio senator.
Their daughter Mirabel was welcomed into the world in December 2021. Vance shared the news of their third child's birth in a now-deleted Instagram post where he wrote: "We were blessed with an early Christmas present this year. Everyone please meet Mirabel Rose Vance, our first girl. Mama and baby both doing great, and we’re feeling very grateful this Christmas season."
While Usha was brought up as Hindu, they are raising their children as Christians.
