People who've vowed to never visit Florida again explain why they'll never go back

"There's absolutely nothing nice there."

People are flooding to social media divided after someone explained why they never want to go to Florida again.

If you've never tried something, then you can't say you don't like it - whether it be a type of food, pair of shoes, or a place you've visited.

Sadly for Florida, this social media user has very much visited the state, but just decided its one of the last places on earth they'd ever want to go back to again.

Well, if the below video is anything to go by, who can really blame them?

IGV took to Facebook earlier today (20 November) to ask followers a pretty big question.

It said: "What is the one place you've been that you will never go again?"

Unfortunately for Florida, it got a shout out from more than one social media user, with the first person to suggest the US state writing: "Florida. Hated every second of every day I lived there. Food sucks and the humidity makes people crazy!"

And the attack on the home of Magic Kingdom Park and Universal Studios simply snowballed from there.

However, it hasn't taken long for Floridians to flock to the south-easternmost US state's defense.

One Facebook user wrote: "So wrong restaurant fantastic, great weather, lovely beaches, fab shopping malls. I love it."

Another Floridian defended: "Y'all probably hate the world or life maybe both what is wrong with fl. Good southern cooking."

However, still riled up by the bad experience, the original Facebook user responded: "You're right I hate life because I hated Florida. It had nothing to do with raining every day. 100% humidity every day. Not being able to walk my dog after 8am because the ground is too hot or the absolutely terrible restaurant scene."

And many agreed with the social media user who wrote the original comment.

Florida may be known for its beach resorts, amusements parks and warm and sunny climate, but apparently that's not quite good enough - and the weather is even part of a reason it's being hated on.

A person wrote: "I'm with you 1000 percent. Never would move to FL for the reasons you mentioned and many more."

Another added: "You're right. It's horrible and we had a horrible time there even with three kids. There's absolutely nothing nice there except some made up lousy lands."

A third commented: "I agree with you I hate Florida too. The heat and humidity gets so depressing."
