Joe Rogan has called out the president after he signed a bill that will see the release of all the case files on Jeffrey Epstein.

Donald Trump has been facing an increasing amount of pressure in recent months to share the files, after he pledged to do so during his 2024 presidential campaign.

The president and his administration have since drip-fed the public with information they had on Epstein, who took his own life in prison in 2019.

Still, the Department of Justice said that they would not be sharing any more files related to the wealthy financier’s sex trafficking investigation - despite Pam Bondi's previous remarks about there being a 'truckload' of documents, PBS reported.

Speaking in March, Bondi said that the FBI had delivered 'thousands of pages of documents' to the DOJ to go through relating to Epstein.

But why would they not release more?

Because the files were supposedly a 'hoax' made up by the Democrats, Trump has claimed.

In a recent rant, the POTUS said: "The Democrats are doing everything in their withering power to push the Epstein Hoax again, despite the DOJ releasing 50,000 pages of documents, in order to deflect from all of their bad policies and losses, especially the SHUTDOWN EMBARRASSMENT, where their party is in total disarray, and has no idea what to do."

But Trump has since made a dramatic U-turn on his views of the files after Congress voted in favor of the Epstein Files Transparency Act which will see release all unclassified documents and records in possession of DOJ relating to Epstein. Yesterday (November 18), Trump signed the bill into law.

Undeniably, it's been quite the battle to get to this point with Trump and his administration having previously dug their heels in when it came to the idea of making the files public, sparking some to believe the president was implicated in the files.

One person who has noted this is Joe Rogan, who called out Trump on his podcast following the news.

"I heard there’s no files. I heard it’s a hoax," Rogan said during a recent podcast episode. "And then all of a sudden he’s going to release the files. I thought there was no files. He wants an investigation now! Like, what is going on?"

Rogan has previously shared his thoughts on the matter and accused the administration of 'gaslighting' Americans.

"This one's a line in the sand because this is one where there's a lot of stuff about, you know, when we thought Trump was going to come in and a lot of things are going to be resolved," he said back in July while discussing the administation's reluctance to share the documents.

"And when you have this one hardcore line in the sand that everybody [has] been talking about forever and then they're trying to gaslight you on that," Rogan went on.

Trump and his party now have 30 days to release the files.
