Woman sparks conversation about the meaning of family after ‘ungrateful’ member 'ruined' her house

The devastated sister took to TikTok to show the horrific damage on her home - which she claims was caused by an ‘ungrateful’ family member.

A family member was left shocked after she claims her 'spiteful' sister completely trashed her Texas home.

Danielle Corbitt, who 'doesn’t usually post her personal business on the internet', clearly felt like she needed to on this occasion.

After paying the bills and making sure her sister felt 'comfortable' in her home, the TikToker was simply left helpless after she claimed her sibling 'completely destroyed every bit of this house'.

Watch below to see the mind-blowing damage:

"Don't help family ever," the mum-of-two told followers via her caption.

In the clip, we witness the horrific damage to her home.

Debris all over the floor, broken lamps, a smashed TV, and the whole living room area and kitchen is completely destroyed.

"Let me show you what a spiteful, ungrateful family member did to the house that I own in Texas," Danielle said in her video posted on September 22, 2023.

"She lived here while I flipped the bill for a year. She didn’t pay any bills and because she had to leave, she decided that she was going to destroy the house.

"Completely destroyed every bit of this house. It’s unreal what she did to this house.

"And to think that I paid your bills and made sure you were comfortable when you couldn’t, this is what I get."

Danielle doesn't live in the home, but rented it out to her son before her sister moved in.

"This is how I’m thanked. If you know my sister, you probably know what kind of person she is," the homeowner added.

"She’s not even my sister anymore. I’m done.

"The house has been locked up, no trespassing is on the door. So, don’t bother coming here.

"And I know eventually someone will show you this video."

The TikToker said she hates 'confrontation and doesn’t usually post her personal business on the internet'.

"I don’t know how anyone could do this to somebody," she said.

Shocking stuff.

She complained her sister has now made it 'pretty much impossible' to sell the home.

Many TikTok users agreed that Danielle should take legal action against her sibling for the alleged damage.

"After the baby books, I would NEVER speak to her again and get a restraining order. I'm so sorry," one person said.

Another added: "Please please please file charges, it’s not confrontational, it’s justice.

"You didn’t deserve that and she needs to understand there are consequences."

Speaking about family members in general, a third person commented: "This is why I’ll [never] enable anyone!!!

"They go crazy when you cut them off. Tough love always! Make them grow up and get it on their own."

A fourth advised: "I would press charges and never speak to her again."

Despite the pain allegedly caused by her sister, Danielle said she would not name her because she isn't that type of person.

I think we can all hope that some sort of karma comes into play here.
