An influencer is being rinsed for advising people never to settle and always date rich.

Sofia Kralow recently posted a video showing off her lavish lifestyle, all thanks to her mega-rich Dubai husband.

The influencer posted a seven-second clip with the caption ‘Raise your standards’, which showed a montage of her boarding a private plane, being gifted high-end jewellery, buying YSL bags, holding cash, jet-setting around the world and driving in luxury cars.

Cue Paris Hilton's 'Stop Being Poor' shirt right here.

The video's on-screen captions also read: “Your daily reminder to never date broke men.”

However, many weren’t too impressed by the glossy vid, as one user posted: “Relationship is not all about money. Being with someone who’s not rich but is working hard to achieve their goals doesn’t mean you are lowering your standards.”

Another said: “For me, I'd better be rich all alone and date a guy who's loyal and makes good money idc or rather die single with my money.”

A third slammed: “If I’m in love with him and he is good for me, it doesn’t really matter if he is broke or rich.”

While another said: “Our daily reminder to be self-sufficient and prioritise SELF RESPECT.”

However, some agreed with Sofia’s sentiment, as one said: “Lord you know I deserve a rich man, Lord do your thing let him find me.”

While another shared: “In my single period till one come.”

Sofia then posted a follow-up video, hitting back at a user who claimed her ideals were sending feminism 100 years back.

She says in the clip: “I saw this comment on my recent TikTok about ‘never dating a broke man’. Can someone explain to me, please, where the connection is between ‘never dating a broke man’ and ‘being dependent on a rich man or any man’?

“If you are dating a rich man, you can be rich by yourself also."

I’m gonna need a rearview camera with the amount of back pedalling happening here.

One user responded to the video, writing: “If you are rich by yourself and don’t need money, why can’t you just date a man who cares about you even though he’s not rich but if women ain’t built like that.”

While another defended: “Some people can’t comprehend that a woman can still earn her own income and not want a broke man..shocking revelation.”
