An expert has claimed that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s recent body language shows that the pair aren’t afraid to commit to public displays of affection.

On Sunday (11 February) Swift, 34, was in attendance at the 58th Super Bowl at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.

The ‘Bad Blood’ singer was joined by famous friends Ice Spice, Blake Lively and later Lana Del Rey in a VIP box as she cheered on boyfriend Kelce, 34, and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

The nail-biting game began with the San Francisco 49ers commanding the field before the Chiefs eventually rose to the challenge and beat their opponents 25-22 in overtime.

After his team claimed their fourth-ever Super Bowl title, Kelce produced a rousing rendition of ‘Viva Las Vegas’ before linking up to celebrate the victory with his girlfriend.

Following the American football game, a psychology expert analysed the body language that both the Pennsylvanian native and her new partner exhibited during the Super Bowl.

Former police officer Darren Stanton claimed that he was initially ‘sceptical’ of Swift and Kelce’s romance, but has since claimed the pair are in a ‘genuine relationship’ with one another and are showing off their relationship to the world.

Speaking on behalf of Slingo, he explained: “I was sceptical of this relationship in the early stages, but because she is so full on now, with her emotions, I think this is a real relationship.

“She’s being true and consistent in her emotions and feelings towards Travis. This is not a PR stunt, this is a genuine relationship.”

He added that the ‘Anti-Hero’ hitmaker ‘clearly loves’ the Chiefs tight end and that she is ‘not afraid’ to show her true feelings for him in public.

Elsewhere, the expert claimed that Swift was ‘much more comfortable’ showing affection at the NFL game than Kelce was.

However, Stanton understood that this was because the athlete was enjoying his 'moment' and said that he didn’t take too much stock in the ‘interesting behaviour’.

“From a non-verbal perspective, it’s as if she’s more into him, or she’s much more comfortable with public displays of affection than he is,” he said.

“At the end of the day, this is his moment, this is what his career is all about. This is the most important night of his life; she should understand that as well.”

“She’s got her arms wrapped around him completely, it’s quite gushy, she appears to be quite emotional here - it’s very interesting behaviour.”
