Pornhub year in review reveals shocking top searches for 2025 and some may surprise you

Pornhub has revealed what people have been searching on the X-rated website and the trends that have been emerging rapidly.

With the end of the year quickly coming up, it gives plenty of people the chance to take their foot off the gas and relax a little bit more and reflect on the year gone.

But companies... well some places, like to reveal all the interesting data they have been compiling as people use their services, which is why X is unusable the week that Spotify releases their wrapped.

But while music companies love to tell you what you been listening to, porn websites, like Pornhub, like to reveal what people have been watching and what is less and more popular this year.

Due to the massive popularity of the website, there is a lot of data to get through and the platform has revealed the most searched terms of the year.

The platform was confident that this year’s roundup would provide more insights into changing ideas around pleasure and identity.

The company stated: “This year’s data goes beyond the performers and categories that captivated the most viewers, shining a light on emerging trends, international shifts, and unexpected spikes in search behavior that transformed the adult landscape.

"The insights reveal viral moments that captured imaginations, breakout performers who made waves, region-specific fascinations, and continually evolving attitudes toward pleasure."

The top searches on the website for 2025:

1. Hentai
2. Milf
3. Pinay
4. Lesbian
5. Anal
6. Big ass
7. Latina
8. Anime
9. Asian
10. Femboy

According to Pornhub, this marks the 5th year in a row that ‘hentai’ was the top search of the year. The platform noted that a likely influence is this kind of material continues to grow worldwide.

Similarly, ‘MILF’ held its spot in second again this year and remains one of the more popular categories regardless of country.

‘Pinay’ is a term that refers specifically to women with Filipino heritage and according to Pornhub is likely due to the growing audience in Philippines.

Lesbian, Anal and Big a** have all held their respective places but as the list continues there is more movement up and down.

One of the more clear changes is Femboy entering the top 10 for 2025. The platform said the overall popularity of the term had shot up 15 places and was representative of a global trend of more people searching for content showing feminine adult men.
