When Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump were at the White House for a meeting, they probably didn't expect to be treated to a private tour of the POTUS' hat collection.
In a stark contrast to when Zelenskyy traveled to America to sit down with Trump in February, this time he was invited to take a peek at his personal collection of accessories.
The Ukrainian leader was at the White House last week to talk about the future of his country and the war with Russia, which came after Vladimir Putin also met with Trump.
Prior to talking to Zelenskyy, Trump outlined two ways Ukraine can end its ongoing conflict with Russia via a post on Truth Social: "President Zelenskyy of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight.”

He added: “Remember how it started. No getting back Obama given Crimea (12 years ago, without a shot being fired!), and NO GOING INTO NATO BY UKRAINE. Some things never change!!!"

European leaders like NATO secretary general Mark Rutte, European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen, British prime minister Keir Starmer, German chancellor Friedrich Merz, Italian PM Giorgia Meloni, Finnish president Alexander Stubb and French president Emmanuel Macron all joined to put their heads together to discuss the future.
But after their discussion, Trump excitedly took Zelenskyy and Macron to see his vast collection of hats.

A photo of the display has done its rounds on social media, which was shared by Special Assistant to the President and Communications Advisor Margo Martin, leaving people calling it 'a guided tour of the Presidential Hat Museum'.
The image on X shows Zelenskyy looking at a huge wall of red and white MAGA caps and other merchandise as Trump shows him a ‘4 more years’ hat, which came into popularity when his supporters begged him to run for office again.
However, the 22nd Amendment prohibits anyone from serving as president for more than two terms.
Zelenskyy and Macron aren't the only ones to be shown Trump's MAGA merch.

Azerbaijan president Ilham Aliyev also got to marvel at Trump's hats - including a controversial 'Trump 2028' one - during his White House visit earlier this month.
According to the New York Post, world leaders and Trump's biggest supporters are encouraged to take mementos from the vast collection.
"Some people leave with bags of stuff," one source said.
The room was originally a private study.
One X user commented: “Imagine if Churchill went to the US during WW2, trying to defend against a shared opponent.. And they stopped for a merch flex break!”

Someone joked: “Imagine flying across the ocean just to see a closet of red hats.”
A user penned: “The White House exit is through the gift shop.”
After the meeting, Zelenskyy described it as having been 'really good', and actually dubbed the meeting as 'the best' so far.
He said: "We are very happy with the president that all the leaders are here and security in Ukraine depends on the United States and on you and on those leaders who are with us in our hearts.”
