People point out ‘priceless’ detail on Trump’s new mobile phone coverage map that he ‘won’t be happy about’

The Trump Organization unveiled its T1 smartphone, but one detail has been widely mocked online

The new Trump phone has become a hot topic since its announcement, but many are pointing out this one detail that could frustrate the president.

Yeah, that’s right, Donald Trump now has a new smartphone coming out and it has admittedly been causing quite a stir.

Before becoming US president, Trump was mostly known for his many business ventures and property work but now he and his company can add phone manufacturer to the portfolio.

The Trump Organization, run by Trump’s eldest sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric, announced that the self-branded smartphone and mobile service was something for ‘real Americans’ to enjoy.

The ‘T1 Phone’ is set to be available in August for an estimated $499, with a $47.45 a month payment plan.

As you can imagine, some people are ecstatic about the idea while others remain very apprehensive.

But those who were curious about the phone coverage of the device identified one clear detail that could likely frustrate Trump.

One Twitter user wrote: “The new Trump Mobile coverage map was released today. It features the Gulf of Mexico! @realDonaldTrump is not going to be happy with @EricTrump and @DonaldJTrumpJr.”

In case you somehow forgot, Trump made the announcement early during his second term that the Gulf of Mexico would now be officially recognized as the ‘Gulf of America’.

At the time, Google revealed it would be abiding by Trump's order to change the name although, the name you see upon searching depends on where you are in the world, with 'Maps users seeing their official local name' and 'everyone in the rest of the world sees both names'.

People on social media found this whole thing rather amusing and some even remarked that the Trump team would take steps to see this changed.

One user commented: “Oops, Trump won't be happy about that.”

Another joked: “He's going to have to disinherit [his sons] or sue them for $15 billion each.”

A third wrote: “This entire site is janky and was written by tech illiterate folks for the tech illiterate. It’s littered with technical errors and typos. I’d say it’s unbelievable. But it’s totally on par.”

With another simply writing: “Priceless.”

Others remarked that it was evidence that the phones were being made outside of America, despite the claims that the tech is all American made.
