If you thought it ended at 'Gazpacho Police', think again, as Majorie Taylor Greene seemingly just called a petri dish a 'peach tree' dish.

Since being elected in Georgia, the QAnon-supporting Republican congresswoman has found herself in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Wether it's calling Caitlyn Jenner a 'man in a dress', mistaking gazpacho soup for the Gestapo, or filing articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden, Green's headline-grabbing antics have never failed to stir up controversy.

Now, the outspoken figure is peddling yet another bizarre conspiracy theory – and it involves Bill Gates, some fake meat and a load of 'peach tree' dishes.

Yep, during her latest live stream, Green told viewers: “The government totally wants to provide surveillance on every part of your life.

“They want to know when you’re eating. They want to know if you’re eating a cheeseburger, which is very bad because Bill Gates wants you to eat his fake meat, which is grown in a peach tree dish."

What exactly is a peach tree dish? Is it a mini tree growing on a little slide of glass? Or simply a nice bit of crockery with some peaches painted on?

Anyway, she didn't stop there, adding that we could expect to 'get a little zap inside your body'.

"And that’s saying, ‘No no! Don’t eat a real cheeseburger, you need to eat the fake, the fake burger, the fake meat from Bill Gates," she continued.

While the whole meat surveillance thing was baffling enough, viewers couldn't help but point out the apparent mispronunciation of petri dish, with many taking to Twitter to mock the congresswoman.

In fact, so many people showered Greene with ridicule that 'peach tree dish' actually trended on the platform yesterday.

"I owe [Marjorie Taylor Greene] an apology. I have been mocking her intellect using example after example of her stupidity, not realizing that she's actually someone who thinks things are made in a 'peach tree dish'," wrote one amused viewer.

"So much going on here. The MTG Live logo. 'Peach tree' dish. Not knowing why Bill Gates advocates for eating less beef," tweeted another.

"Marjorie Taylor Greene just baselessly said the government wants to track when people eat cheeseburgers because they want you to eat “Bill Gates’ fake meat that grows in a peach tree dish," said a third.

For context, the Microsoft co-founder spoke out last year about climate change and how wealthy countries should stop eating beef in an effort to tackle the issue. "I don't think the poorest 80 countries will be eating synthetic meat. I do think all rich countries should move to 100 percent synthetic beef," he told MIT Technology Review.

"You can get used to the taste difference, and the claim is they're going to make it taste even better over time," he added.

Regardless, I think it's safe to say they won't be serving up your meat-free steaks from a 'peach tree' dish.
