A TikToker has shared a clip from an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast from March 2020 that shows him supporting vaccines.
In the footage, Rogan is interviewing Dr. Michael Osterholm, an infectious disease expert and COVID-19 advisory board member, and is largely in agreement with Osterholm, stressing the importance of vaccines.
The video begins with the TikToker saying, 'I am gonna say something that is going to make most of you wanna swipe past this but then I'll explain.'
He then introduces the video, saying that on March 10, 2020, just before widespread lockdowns began in the USA, Rogan interviewed the 'straight shooter' Osterholm.
This clip, he says, shows 'Rogan talking about how amazing, miraculous and valuable vaccines are'.

He then highlights this footage was from 'less than two years ago', and says that Rogan has since 'lost his mind with all that Spotify money'.
The podcast clip then begins, with Osterholm emphasising the need for 'straight talk' with regards to the pandemic.
He explains, 'This is going to be challenging,' but that 'we are going to get through it'.

Rogan then says, 'I hope this wakes people up to the value of vaccines too, there's so many wackos out there that think that vaccines are a scam, or dangerous.'
The host adds, 'There are so many people out there that won't vaccinate their children.'
Osterholm then proceeds to say, 'I couldn't agree with you more,' before adding that it is an 'important' point to make.
The doctor continues, 'These vaccines can be life-saving, if we had one right now think how different the situation would be.'

And, here's the kicker: Osterholm goes on to thank Rogan 'for what you do say about vaccines because people listen to you, and we need every positive voice because we have so many crazy voices out there right now'.
Rogan then replies, 'So many people are paranoid and delusional and they want it all to be a conspiracy, there's been an amazing medical innovation in human culture and that's vaccines. It's amazing what it's done.'
He proceeds to say of potential adverse effects to vaccines that while 'some people are gonna react in a bad way, it doesn't mean it's not a positive thing'.

The interview has resurfaced amid growing claims of Rogan providing a platform for vaccine misinformation on his Spotify podcast, which led to a number of artists pulling their music from the platform.
This came after controversy following the 2021 New Year's Eve episode of the podcast in which Rogan interviews Dr. Robert Malone who makes wild claims about the vaccine.
