One thing that people can only hope for is to end up financially stable at some point in their adult lives.

Unless you're born into an extremely wealthy family, there's a good chance it'll take a couple of decades of hard work to get you into a good and comfortable financial position, but this guy got to the age 46 and found himself with next to no money in the bank.

The man, who only gave his first name of Mark, believes he's had around 50 jobs over the years - one of which was paying him a liveable $50,000 a year.

But he ditched his stable job in a bid to pursue his dream of becoming a successful Twitch streamer.

While he was doing quite well at one point - reportedly making as much as $7,000 a month sometimes - he found the job too taxing and quit.

Fast forward to the present day and Mark is now working as an Uber driver but is still in thousands of dollars worth of debt and frequently has to borrow cash from his elderly, retired parents.

Speaking on an episode of Caleb Hammer's Financial Audit titled 'Pathetic Loser is "Too Good For Work"', the YouTuber and budgeting pro looked into Mark's finances - and it was quite the financial massacre.

Mark admitted after quitting his stable job to start streaming, he maxed out his 401(k) and received just over $5,000 after taxes.

Now working as an Uber driver, Mark said he can make $600 - $700 'on a good week', but it's still not enough to fund his lifestyle.

Showing one receipt, Caleb saw that Mark eats out pretty much all the time, which he squanders a lot of his money on.

Defending his spending on the fact that people 'have to eat', Caleb went on a long rant at Mark.

"You're right, you have to eat [but] not stopping every second of your life to eat," he fumed. "Eating out is so expensive the way you're doing it. [...] You are borrowing from your retired elderly parents to go to Panda f**king Express."

"Disgusting. Immature. Childish. Baby. F**k you," Caleb went on.

And many people echoed similar sentiments in the comments section of the video.

"Dudes almost 50 and still relying on his parents to support him," said one person. "Men like this will never grow up. He’s probably been bailed out by mommy & daddy his entire life."

A second said: "This guy is so lazy that he lucked into a bill-paying streaming gig during the pandemic and even sitting at home playing video games was too much work for him."

Others praised Caleb for his tough love approach with the guy in the hopes that it will help him get his funds - and life - in order.
