A court in the US has found Bill Cosby guilty of sexually abusing a teenager back in 1975 at the Playboy Mansion.

Judy Huth was just 16 years old when the TV star invited her and a friend to the infamous home in California.

He allegedly told them to pretend they were 19 if they got asked by anyone at the party.

Huth claimed Cosby gave her several alcoholic drinks during the night before he forced her to perform a sex act on him.

A California court has found the entertainer was liable for sexual assault and has awarded his victim $500,000 in damages.

Cosby didn't appear in person at the trial and denied all the allegations against him, according to Reuters.

In a filmed deposition, he claimed he didn't remember the incident and said he would never go after someone who was under 18.

Last year, Cosby had a separate sexual assault conviction overturned by Pennsylvania's highest court.

The court made the decision after finding an agreement with a previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case.

Cosby had served more than two years of his three-to-10 year sentence.

He was convicted of drugging and molesting ex-basketball player Andrea Constand at his suburban estate in 2008.

Cosby was arrested just days before the 12-year statute of limitations expired and, following a trial, he was found guilty of the charges, but he has long maintained his innocence about the allegations.

At his first trial, just one accuser took to the stand to testify against him. The jury did not reach a unanimous verdict and so a retrial was ordered.

At the retrial, the judge allowed five others accusers to give evidence against Cosby in relation to alleged experiences from the 1980s.
