Hello and welcome to the latest instalment of Celebrities Being Weird Little Guys. This time around, we have supermodel Heidi Klum saying she drinks the blood of her younger husband in a new interview.

Klum, 49, has been married to Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaultiz, 32, since 2019, and joked that her hubby’s bodily fluids are behind her age-defying looks.

Speaking about her beauty regime, Klum quipped: “I suck his [Kaultiz’s] young blood, is what I’m doing. Like a vampire.” Adorbs.

Klum, who was of course joking, made the comment during an appearance on E!’s Daily Pop, and also shared some candid words about Kaultiz, noting: “I just know him so well. We just gel really well. I just feel like, ‘Finally, I found the one'. So far so good. I hope it stays that way.”

For a reason unknown to us lowly non-famous folk, celebrities love the idea of drinking their other half’s blood.

Back in April, Megan Fox made stomachs around the world churn when she said she drinks her fiance Machine Gun Kelly’s blood ‘for ritual purposes’, explaining how the two will ‘shed a few drops’ on occasion and gobble it up.

When Fox got engaged to MGK, she announced the news with a video of the moment he proposed – explaining in the caption how she said yes and then casually dropped in how they ‘drank each other's blood’.

During a later interview with Glamour, Fox was asked whether she actually consumed the musician’s blood, and responded: “Yeah. So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like Game of Thrones, drinking each other’s blood.

“It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.

"I’m much more controlled. I read tarot cards and I’m into astrology and I’m doing all these metaphysical practices and meditations. And I do rituals on new moons and full moons, and all these things.

"And so, when I do it, it’s a passage or it is used for a reason. And it is controlled where it’s like, ‘Let’s shed a few drops of blood and each drink it’.”

Perhaps most famously of all, Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton caught the public’s attention during their three-year marriage because they had a penchant for wearing vials containing each other’s blood in public.

In 2014, Thornton explained the decision when speaking to Vanity Fair, saying: “Vial of blood is very simple. Angie came home one day with a [locket] kit she bought.

“She thought it would be interesting and romantic if we took a little razorblade and sliced our fingers, smeared a little blood on these lockets and you wear it around your neck.”
