A chef has plans to open up the first 'Ozempic restaurant' as we start to gear up for the festive season.
Ozempic has been all over the internet in recent years, with many either praising the impact of the drug or highlighting the endless side effects.
While commonly associated with weight loss, Ozempic is not actually licensed as an weight loss drug and is prescribed as a treatment for type 2 diabetes.
Ozempic's active ingredient semaglutide helps the body to produce more insulin as needed, as well as regulating the glucose which is produced by the liver.

However, another effect of taking Ozempic is that it can help with regulating appetite.
That means if you are taking Ozempic you might feel fuller for longer after eating less, and combined with a balanced diet and exercise, this can be helpful for people who want to lose weight.
Now, a chef is opening up a restaurant which is catered towards people who are trying to lose weight.
This sees celebrity chef Jack Stein partnering with clinically-supervised weight-management service CheqUp in 'Season’s Eatings' in Covent Garden, London.
The restaurant will serve festive food designed for people on GLP-1 medication.
As for how that might look, think smaller portions, lower calorie dishes, and less booze, as well as different dessert options.
Jack Stein said: "Food is meant to bring people together, not divide them. The real challenge is making sure everyone feels part of the meal, whatever they eat.
"For me, that’s where the fun begins - finding ways to make dishes full of flavour, colour, and generosity for every plate. Using things like black vinegar, soy, miso, or citrus to add depth and balance without relying on butter or cream.
“We’ve used ingredients like lean turkey, oily fish, cruciferous vegetables and citrus to help with satiety and digestion, while the smaller plates mean you can enjoy every flavour without overdoing it.
“Anyone hosting this Christmas can take a similar approach – focus on flavour, texture and balance rather than quantity, and your guests will still feel like they’ve had the full festive experience.”
Toby Nicol, Chief Executive at CheqUp said it was all about creating a space 'where everyone can enjoy the festivities'.
He said: “Christmas is a time to celebrate, but it can also be a challenging period for anyone on a medical weight-loss journey. We’re seeing a real shift in how people approach the festive season, showing festive joy and considered eating can coexist.
“We wanted to create a space where everyone can enjoy the festivities, delicious food and good company, without having to compromise their health journey. Season’s Eatings is designed to inspire hosts and guests with practical, joyful ways to celebrate the season."
