'Grim Reaper' spotted in operating theatre just minutes after surgery

A doctor has revealed the horrifying moment he caught sight of the 'Grim Reaper' in an operating theatre.

If there's one thing you don't want to see in a hospital minutes after a surgery is performed, it's a figure that is the personification of death.

After performing a hysterectomy on a patient, a surgeon at the Clínica del Noroeste in Hermosillo in Mexico took a photograph of them with a jar containing the removed uterus.

Dr Jorge Bermejo Kawache Ortega took to his TikTok page a couple of years ago to share the image.

However, it wasn't the removed uterus that led people to flock to the comments in disbelief, but something viewers spotted in the background of the operating room.

In the background, a dark shadowy shape that looks like the figure of the grim reaper can be spotted.

Dr Kawache said: "Whether or not you believe in the paranormal and that plane that surrounds us, I’ll leave you with something to reflect on: All surgeons, when entering an operating room, have a constant fight with death to restore people to health.

"Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. No matter how good a surgeon you are, death is always part of our work and is always present.”

In an interview with Jam Press at the time, he added: "A friend of mine in Hermosillo (Sonora State), Mexico sent me a message saying ‘Check out this picture real quick’.

"When I opened it, the first thing I saw was the jar, containing a uterus following an abdominal hysterectomy of a 50-year-old female patient.

"The operation went very well without complications, and the patient was discharged the next day.

"The doctor took the photo of the organ in the Formol preservative to show the patient’s family.

"And of course, the relatives saw the dark silhouette behind the jar and were like ‘Oh my God, what the f**k is that?’ Naturally, they were pretty freaked out by this.

"When my friend sent me the picture, I just wanted to share it with my followers. It went viral very quickly here in Mexico, but I didn’t expect that.

"However, the patient was discharged the very next day and was fine so I don’t know, it was just an eerie image."

But that didn't stop social media users from speculating what was spotted in the pic while sharing their own paranormal experiences.

Dr Kawache was shocked at the discovery.

One user wrote: "The spiritual world is more real than this world, it's just that many people underestimate the existence of God and Satan, which is more real than they think."

Another said: "When my mum passed, RIP, I talked to her by Zoom and there was a black shadow next to her bed. And that night she left us."

Well, whether you believe in the Grim Reaper or not, there's no denying that's one eerie photo.
