But if the latest snippet of news about Fast X is anything to go by, we’re in for even more of a high-throttle treat than previously thought.
Word on the street is that the movie’s budget has ballooned so much that it might be on the fast track to becoming one of the most expensive films of all time.

The Wrap reported this week that Fast X’s budget supposedly now sits at $340 million - 70% more than the $200 million the blockbuster’s budget was first said to be.
The outlet said: “The surging price tag, which factors in tax-incentive offsets, can be blamed on numerous budget-busting elements: increased salaries for series star Vin Diesel and the rest of the franchise’s ensemble cast, general increases in production costs caused by global inflation and charges for testing requirements mandated by [global restrictions].”
If the budget has actually grew to $340 million, it’ll put Fast X up there in the budget hall of fame, sitting alongside the likes of Avengers: Endgame ($356 million) and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides ($379 million).
In fact, it would mean Fast X will become the fourth most expensive film ever made, behind Stranger Tides, Avengers: Age of Ultron ($365 million), and Endgame, kicking Infinity War down to fifth (£325 million).

Back in May, Fast X star Vin Diesel shared the first look at Brie Larson on set, which immediately sent the internet into overdrive.
In a teasing message to his Instagram followers, he wrote: "There are some people you will meet in life... That will change you, change your family... change the world, FOREVER! #FastX."
People were quick to respond to the actor’s post, with one person writing: “Can't wait," while another added: "Captain Marvel has arrived."
"Let the fan theories begin," a third commented - and boy, were they right.
Even though we are yet to discover what Larson's role will be, some have come up with some unique suggestions.
One user quipped: "So what now are you her father," while someone else added: "She's Brian's sister I'm calling it."
Diesel previously wrote of Larson's involvement: "Yeah yeah yeah... you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to yourself 'that's Captain Marvel'. Clearly there is love and laughter in this image.
"What you don't see however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast 10. You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology.
"Beyond her beauty, her intellect... her Oscar, haha, is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie."
