Cassie recalls ‘terrifying’ time Diddy discovered she was dating famous rapper and wanted to 'blow up his car’

Cassie gave a heartbreaking testimony about her decade-long relationship with Diddy

Cassie Ventura has recalled a 'terrifying' moment where she alleges Diddy wanted to 'blow up' the car of a famous rapper she was dating.

The high-profile case brought against Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, kicked off on Monday (May 12) after the rapper was arrested in New York last September.

Combs faces several charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, all of which he denies and has pleaded not guilty.

From the courtroom, his former girlfriend, Cassandra 'Cassie' Ventura, who he dated on-and-off for over a decade, took to the stand for the past three days in a row to testify what her relationship with Combs was like, which started after she met him in 2005 when she was 19 and he was 37.

She has alleged a litany of physical abuse at the hands of her ex-boyfriend and gave some shocking insight into Combs' so-called 'freak-offs,' claiming they were 'sexual encounter[s] called voyeurism'.

Amongst some of the allegations, Ventura claims that Combs would arrange the 'parties' which involved her having sex with another man, usually an escort, which she didn't want to participate in.

"The freak offs became a job. There was no time to do anything else but do them then try to recover. The longest was four days, significant periods of time," the singer said.

In one horrifying incident, she claimed Combs instructed an escort to 'urinate' in her mouth, and later went on to say the parties caused an enormous physical toll on her body, ranging from 'painful' infections and mouth sores to frequent urinary tract infections (UTIs).

On the stand, the now 38-year-old further alleged that Combs threatened to 'blackmail' her by leaking video footage of her engaged in sexual acts from the 'freak-offs', when she started dating someone else.

She also referred to one incident in 2011 when she was dating rapper Kid Cudi, real name Scott Mescudi, where she claims Combs found out about their relationship from her emails.

"[Combs] went through my phone during a freak-out. He found an email," Ventura claimed. "[Combs] put a wine opener in his hand and threatened me."

The star went on to allege Combs again threatened to 'release' tapes of her and 'hurt Scott and I', adding: "[Combs] said he wanted Scott's friends to see Scott's car blown up."

One of Cudi's cars was blown up, and Ventura claimed that she, Cudi, and Combs all had a meeting. At that meeting, the musician asked about his car, to which Combs replied, "What vehicle?"

It was reported by Rolling Stone that a 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S belonging to the 'Day 'n' Nite' singer had been set ablaze by an 'incendiary device' in January 2012.

In Cassie's 2023 lawsuit against Combs, she referenced the same alleged incident, and a representative of Cudi's confirmed to The New York Times that 'this is all true'.

Elsewhere in her testimony, she claimed Combs inflicted 'violence' on her 'too frequently' and would 'punish' her by taking away her things, like her phone, car and laptop.

By the end of the relationship in 2018, Ventura claimed she had 'PTSD,' adding: "There was a time I couldn't take the pain, tried to walk out in traffic. I had trauma therapy."

Jurors were also shown a CCTV video that was made public last year which appeared to show Combs launching an attack on Ventura while inside a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

At the time, Combs apologized on Instagram, writing that he was 'disgusted' by his actions and takes 'full responsibility.'

The trial continues.
