Bam Margera arrested for public intoxication

The former Jackass star was seen yelling in a restaurant where his estranged wife and son were eating

Bam Margera has been arrested for public intoxication at a restaurant in Los Angeles.

The former Jackass star rocked up at a Thai restaurant in Burbank on Wednesday (29 March) afternoon where his estranged wife Nikki Boyd and their five-year-old son were eating.

Footage circulating on social media appears to show the 43-year-old yelling in the restaurant before throwing open the door.

Another video appears to show him sat on the pavement outside the restaurant as an officer speaks to him.

Speaking to TMZ, Nikki said the incident 'was scary for me and even more scary for Phoenix', calling it a shame because 'the visitation that Bam had with Phoenix the prior day in Hollywood went reasonably well'.

She claimed Bam was intoxicated and belligerent in the restaurant, adding: "This is the umpteenth time that Bam takes one step forward and 10 steps back."

Nikki has filed for divorce.

Nikki's lawyer, David Glass, told TMZ they had been working with Bam to set up regular visitation, but this is contingent on him remaining sober and treating Nikki respectfully.

Nikki filed for divorce in February, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple broke up on 14 September, 2021 but Nikki said she felt 'compelled' to legally separate due to Bam's substance abuse and 'erratic behaviour'.

In a statement shared with People, attorney Glass said: "Nikki Margera felt compelled to file for legal separation from her husband, Bam Margera, due to his continuing drug and alcohol abuse, erratic behavior, and due to his failure to provide support for her and their son.

"Nikki has put everything she has into trying to get Bam to stay sober, and to trying to preserve her family."

The pair have been married since 2013, and following his most recent rehab stint last year, Boyd said in a statement shared with People through her attorney: "We love Bam, both as a husband and father.

"We pray that he will give it all he has this time at this new rehab facility so he can complete his treatment and come home to the family that loves him."

Bam was arrested a few weeks ago for allegedly kicking a woman.

A few weeks ago, Bam was arrested after being accused of kicking a woman.

Police took the skateboarder into custody on 2 March, according to TMZ, and took him to a detention facility.

Authorities were called to a California home early in the morning on reports of a domestic dispute.

The San Diego Country Sheriff's Department explained to TMZ that an unnamed woman claimed Bam had kicked her.

He was taken to the Vista Detention Facility on a 'charge of corporal injury on a current or former spouse, cohabitant, dating partner or fellow parent'.
