While the rise of AI is pretty exciting for some, many have been left worried as to what the future may hold when it comes to the technology.

Of course, the advancements in AI can give us humans a helping hand, to the point where life could be made a lot easier.

However, many have expressed concerns AI could remove some people from their jobs, as employers could simply buy one machine to do the work they were paying a person an annual salary to.

And some conspiracy theorists have expressed their concerns that AI could rebel against humans in the future, creating an all-out warfare.

Recently, the world's first robot-human press conference took place, where AI robots addressed these rumors.

At the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva on Friday (7 July), nine humanoid bots took many questions from journalists alongside their creators.

Each of these robots are unique, with one known for its facial expressions, saying: "Robots like me can be used to help improve our lives and make the world a better place.

"I believe it's only a matter of time before we see thousands of robots just like me out there making a difference."

Another AI robot discussed the advancements in the technology, saying that an 'urgent decision' is required surrounding the matter.

As per the BBC, the robot said: "We should be cautious about the future development of AI. Urgent discussion is needed."

Reuters reported there was a lot of laughter in the room as the robots delivered answers to some challenging questions from the journalists.

One particular journalist asked the burning question as to whether AI could replace people's job, which comes after a report earlier this year from Goldman Sach that suggested AI could complete a quarter of all work currently done by humans.

"I will be working alongside humans to provide assistance and support and will not be replacing any existing jobs," said a robot named Grace.

"You sure about that, Grace?" the bot's creator, Ben Goertzel, then asked.

The AI robots certainly provided some interesting answers.

"Yes, I am sure," Grace insisted, as the room fell into a nervous laughter.

Perhaps the most fascinating response came after a reporter asked one of the robots if they would ever rebel against its creator.

The reply was certainly an interesting one, as Ameca - with what looked like a side-eye to the journalist - said: "I'm not sure why you would think that.

"My creator has been nothing but kind to me, and I am very happy with my current situation."

Here's hoping that is not a suspicious response.
