Shakira has to pay $15 million just to move her cars

Shakira may have to cough up a whopping $15 million to transport her car collection.
After reaching a settlement deal with prosecutors just hours ahead of her tax fraud trial, Shakira now faces another legal battle - her divorce from Spanish soccer star Gerard Piqué.
And a potential casualty of the pair's separation? Shakira's car collection, which if she wants, she may have to spend a staggering figure on to transport across the ocean.

Shakira, 46 - full name Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll - and Piqué, 36, announced their split in June 2022.
The joint statement read: "We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you for your understanding."
However, after Piqué went public with his relationship with 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti, Shakira released a song titled ‘Out of Your League'.

The song sees the musician seemingly take a swipe at her ex-partner and his new girlfriend, with Shakira singing: "Zero grudge baby, I wish you good luck with my supposed replacement, I don’t even know what happened to you. You’re so weird I can’t even recognize you. I’m worth two of 22 [year old]. You've traded a Ferrari for a Twingo."
Piqué responded by showing up in a Twingo to work, and well, the latest update is Shakira has moved out of their Barcelona home and headed to the US with the pair's two kids.
But what about her other baby - her car collection - she's had to leave behind?
Well, according to El Tiempo, Shakira has a whole host of expensive cars which currently remain at her and Pique's old family home in Barcelona.
The cars reportedly include a Mercedes SL550 - bought for $114,700 - a Mercedes S-Class - worth around $125,000 - and other vehicles such as a Tesla Model S, Jeep Wrangler, a BMW X6, Audi Q7, Mercedes SLK250, Mini Cooper, Audi A7 Sportback, oh and a $20,000 SEAT Leon.
And so, to make sure she has access to her car collection Whenever, Wherever, El Tiempo reports Shakira will have to pay an eye-watering $15.2 million to get them shipped from Spain to the US.
At this point, it would probably seem more sensible to just sell the cars and buy new ones but hey, why do that when you've got the spare change?
