Only five The Boys characters have appeared in every single episode

One of them has shocked fans of the Amazon series

When you think of The Boys who do you think of?

Do you think of Homelander, Butcher, and Hughie? Of Starlight and A-Train, of Frenchie, Kimiko and Mother’s Milk?

Well, if your answer was ‘all of the above’, then you’d be shocked to find out that only five characters have appeared in every single episode, and one of them isn’t even from the list above.

Now, let’s cut the cr*p.

Obviously, three of them are Homelander, Butcher, and Hughie. I’m not going to kid you and pretend otherwise.

Starlight, the most underrated character on the show, has also been there from the start.

With this week’s finale episode, however, the number to appear in every single episode dropped from six to five.

A-Train, the now almost reformed speedster, didn’t appear in the season four finale.

The supe aided Butcher and Starlight in episode seven in a fight against The Deep and Black Noir, causing him to need to flee from the persecution of Homelander.

Therefore, there are only five left.

Even though the other members of the titular boys are core parts of the show though, they have not all appeared in every episode.

The other character who has appeared in every episode, other than the core four?

The Deep.

Fans were as shocked as I am when they found that out Chace Crawford’s Dolphin f*cking, Octopus sucking freak had managed to find a way to appear at least once an episode for the show’s entire run.

Posted on the subreddit r/TheBoys, one fan commented: “Genuinely surprised that they always found a way to give The Peak at least 1 scene per episode, 32 times in a row.

“I thought for sure that he would be absent for a few of them in Season 2 and 3 due to him not being super relevant then, but apparently not. Though, they kinda robbed us of an interaction between him and Hughie, so many missed opportunities.

“Also, hilarious that old Noir doesn’t say sh*t and could be placed in the background of any episode without it having to be a big deal, yet he doesn’t appear in every episode even before this season.”

Despite being one of my favourites, Black Noir is clearly not considered important enough to be ever-present. (Prime Video)

Another fan commented: “The Deep was here for every episode ??? No way”.

One even said: “I don’t know how much people would agree, but Chace Crawford is the surprise star for me. He’s entertaining in every scene, which turns out is every episode”.

With my money being on Starlight killing The Deep in season four, it’ll be curious to see if he makes it through every episode of the series.
