She-Hulk Trailer Sees Return Of MCU Character Last Seen Over 10 Years Ago

She-Hulk's debut is bringing back a rather abominable foe from the MCU's past

She-Hulk is Marvel's new Attorney at Law, and she'll have company from the franchise's rogues gallery.

It's hilarious to think of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as anything other than the entertainment machine in the world – but once upon a time, in decades past, it was the big-screen underdog, bringing B-characters together in a way that hadn't been done before.

Its success has been unprecedented, with millions of fans across the world, billions in box office revenue and a master plan stretching far into the future. This includes the debut of She-Hulk, and the return of an abominable foe.

Check out the trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law below:

The official synopsis reads: "This new comedy series sees Bruce Banner help his cousin, Jennifer Walters, when she needs an emergency blood transfusion and guess what? She receives his powers too.

"Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer, who is a lawyer specialising in superhuman-oriented legal cases. Mark Ruffalo is back as the Hulk alongside Tim Roth, who plays the Abomination."

Roth first appeared in 2008's The Incredible Hulk as Emil Blonsky, a soldier who becomes the Abomination in pursuit of Hulk's power, transforming into a rather ghastly humanoid monster.

While lending his voice to the Abomination's brief return in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, this is the first time Roth has been seen as Blonsky in 14 years.

In an interview with Uproxx, Roth said his return to the MCU 'totally surprised' him.

He said: "I went in to chat with Kevin Feige and he said, 'I’ve got an idea. Come in.' Really? Really? Because the original thing that I did, when I did that first Incredible Hulk movie, was I just did it for my kids."

As Roth noted, Incredible Hulk was almost pre-Iron Man (it was in production before Robert Downey Jr. made his debut), and the MCU has evolved a lot since then.

"I was amazed when they came back around and said, 'How would you feel about...' And I went, 'Yeah. All right!' And we just shot it, I guess in the summer last year or whatever.

"Bonus, I got to work with Mark Ruffalo. Awesome. Who I love. And I don’t know if I’m allowed to say. Oh, I can say that. But this extraordinary woman, Tatiana... incredible, that woman. So that was a blast. It was insane."

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law will start streaming on Disney+ on 17 August.
