The first trailer has dropped for the latest season of an 'incredible' show - and viewers are getting hyped.

Yes, if you haven't seen it, stop what you're doing and turn on Apple TV + because this show is amazing.

The show is about a team of office workers who undergo severance procedures to divide their memories between work and personal lives.

The sci-fi is directed by acting legend Ben Stiller, who is also the shows executive producer.

It also features a star-studded cast including Adam Scott, who features alongside Academy-Award winner Patricia Arquette, Emmy-winner John Turturro, and two-time Oscar winner Christopher Walken.

Yep, Severance is back baby.

You can check out the new trailer here:

When it first aired way back in February 2022, fans loved the show and they only got more hyped after the finale in April that year.

Taking to X, one user wrote: "The Severance finale was everything. One of the best debut seasons I’ve seen since the first seasons of Mr. Robot and Atlanta. I cannot wait until season 2. What a f***ing great show."

Another added: "Wow...I'm in awe. The #SEVERANCE season 1 finale is the most intense episode of a TV series that I've seen in a very long time.

"The tension that Ben Stiller masterfully crafted while directing this episode will be talked about for a long time. This show is unmatched."

But, that was two years and two months ago - and until now, we haven't seen or heard anything about season two.

And well, now we have and we can't wait - BUT WE STILL HAVE TO.

It isn't until January next year when it will air again... sorry Ben, but making us wait three years is sick, and I'm not the only person to think so.

Also taking to the social media platform, now called X, one user posted: "Too far away severance come home NOW.

"Even just hearing that theme gave me the biggest buzz."

While another informed her followers of the long wait, saying: "@AppleTV has officially Announced the long awaited release date for Severance Season 2. Unfortunately, you will have to wait just a little bit longer.

"Severance Season 2 will premiere on 17 January, 2025."

Yes, 17th January 2025.

But will the wait be worth it? One person definitely thinks so as they posted: "I can’t wait. This show is incredible."

While another user added: "I can’t wait but that release date hurts."

So, if you haven't had the chance to watch it yet - fire up Apple TV +, and search for Severance.
