An Ozark legend's new movie that's 'not for the faint of heart' has been dubbed the highest rated horror of the decade.
Boasting a star-studded cast, the horror flick racked up a flawless 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes rating from early reviewers who shared their verdicts ahead of its release.
Starring Ozark's Julia Garner, Avenger's Josh Brolin, Oppenheimer's Alden Ehrenreich and Doctor Strange's Benedict Wong, it's quite the Hollywood line-up.

The movie is the latest release from Barbarian director Zach Creggar. The twisty, 2022 horror was also critically acclaimed, racking up an impressive 92 percent score. But critics say this new release cements Creggar as a 'master of horror' - quite the compliment!
The movie, releasing on Friday (August 8), explores the aftermath of a class of third-graders who vanish simultaneously at 2.17am, leaving one child - Alex (Days of our Lives' Cary Christopher) - behind.
Elementary school teacher Justine Gandy (Garner) finds herself at the center of suspicion, grappling with grief, blame and a growing sense of paranoia from the concerned community around her. The story unfolds through multiple perspectives - including parent Archer Graff (Brolin), a devastated father dead set on tracking down his missing son.

The movie in question is called Weapons - and it's been listed among the goriest horrors of the year.
On Wednesday (August 6), across 40 Rotten Tomatoes reviews, the movie held a perfect 100 percent rating.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Film Updates shared the screenshots online, adding: "‘WEAPONS’ still holds a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
"The highest rated horror movie of the decade."

At the time of writing, though, that rating has slipped down to an average of 95 percent across some 96 critic reviews. Still, it's not a score to be sniffed at.
The Rotten Tomatoes critics' consensus reads: "Zach Cregger spins an expertly crafted yarn of terrifying mystery and thrilling intrigue in Weapons, a sophomore triumph that solidifies his status as a master of horror."

Sebastian Zavala Kahn of Me gusta el cine described it as 'one of the most creative, unpredictable and at times (well, at one time) gory films I've seen this year,' adding that Zach Cregger is not to be underestimated.
Meanwhile, Nagier Chambers of Big Gold Belt Media hailed Weapons as 'brutal, brilliant, and absolutely not for the faint of heart'.
Weapons releases in theaters on Friday, August 8 in the US and is already showing in UK cinemas.
