Owen Wilson has weighed in on whether his Apple TV+ series features any 'Easter Eggs'.
Wilson's latest project - Apple TV+ series Stick - sees him star as an ex-pro golfer named Pryce Cahill who's essentially going through a mid-life crisis. His marriage has broken down, his career is over and he's grappling with the big question of 'What's next?' when he stumbles upon a 17-year-old reluctant golfer with pure talent.
The series executes a smooth swing into a heartwarming journey of discovery, with an ace script, solid performances and a wholesomely matched soundtrack.

It perfectly putts the balance between a nostalgic, old school comedy while updating itself to be relatable to its time, providing side-splitting commentary and insight into both sides - Gen Zs and Alpha balanced with millennials, Gen X and Boomers.
And while millennials may know Wilson from movies such as Zoolander, Wedding Crashers and Marley and Me, many may also recognise him most from the memes which frequently fly around online *sigh*.

Yes, Wilson has found himself not only the subject of memes but also a song, no less, off the back of saying, 'Wow' so frequently and in such a particular way within so many of his projects.

But does Stick see any 'Easter Egg' wows thrown in too? Well, UNILAD asked the actor and his answer certainly didn't disappoint.
First things first, despite the multiple posts online about Wilson's 'Wows' alongside just how much he reportedly earns per 'Wow,' the actor wasn't actually aware of the true scale of his 'Wow' fandom and was surprised when UNILAD revealed there's even a song which sees all his 'Wows' compiled.
Wilson has said 'Wow' in at least 28 of his releases, according to Screen Rant, but what about his latest Apple TV+ release Stick?

He teased: "I wonder. Well, there could be - what do they call those? - Easter eggs? Yes, yeah, I think there might be.
"I think I was contracted to do three of them. So yes, they're sprinkled judiciously throughout."
Said with a deadpan tone and facial expression, if he hadn't then let out a small giggle moments after, I would've thought he may be being serious and have reached for my pad and pen to trawl back through the series and count.
Intrigued? Well, you'll just have to tune in yourself to see.

And Wilson opened up more about the filming of series in more detail too.
When asked whether there were any moments a ball ended up where it shouldn't have or a swing went askew, Wilson revealed a hilarious moment which occurred when his kids came to visit him on set one day.
Wilson explained both he and Peter Dager (who plays Santi Wheeler) were both 'sort of new to the game' of golf and so took lessons to prepare for their roles.

The actor explained that despite being able to 'maybe outscore' Dager, 'he had a kind of better-looking swing' - so naturally, the pair decided to embark on 'these little competitions'.
On the day Wilson's 'two boys were visiting,' the pair had the 'pro advisor' in to help them with their practice.
Alas, despite Wilson thinking he could probably 'outscore' Dager, the younger actor managed to get 'a hole-in-one' from 'about 100 yards out'.
Wilson added: "So, I would say the ball ended up where it shouldn't have, uh, because that should have been that - I wish that had been."

So, don't wish what could've been like Wilson, because it's certainly worth taking a punt and subscribing for Apple TV+ - if you haven't already - to catch the heart-warming release.
Stick is available to watch with a subscription from today (June 4) on Apple TV+.
