Nicole Kidman said that filming a risqué A24 film left her not wanting to be ‘touched again’ in her life. The confession came almost a year before she filed for divorce from country singer Keith Urban.
The Australian actress is no stranger to a raunchy role, recently appearing in Netflix’s A Family Affair and previously committing to sex scenes in Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut and age-gap cinema erotica, The Paperboy, among other classics.
Last year, the 58-year-old added another NSFW role to her arsenal, that of high-functioning New York CEO Romy Mathis in Babygirl.

In the Halina Reijn flick, which earned the star her 20th Golden Globe nomination, Kidman’s character puts her career, family, and marriage on the line for a younger intern named Samuel (played by Harris Dickinson), who assumes the role of a dominant partner in their relationship.
According to Kidman, shooting the Babygirl sex scenes was so intense that it forced her to 'pause' filming.
"There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration. It's like, ‘Don't touch me’," she said, per The Sun.

"There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don't want to orgasm anymore. Don't come near me. I hate doing this. I don't care if I am never touched again in my life! I'm over it’.
"It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burnout."
In another interview about the movie, Kidman claimed starring as Mathis had been ‘liberating’.
According to People, she explained: "I’ve always been on a quest as an actor, I’m always going, where have I not been? And what can I explore as a human being? And this was an area I’d never been."

Babygirl was released almost 10 months before the Hollywood icon filed for divorce from Urban, 57.

The couple, who have been married for 19 years, share two children: 17-year-old Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, 14. The family previously resided primarily in Nashville.
'The Fighter' singer had allegedly lent his support for his wife’s spicy scenes, per a report in the Daily Mail.

Following the release of Babygirl, a source told the outlet that Urban saw the acts of his now-estranged wife as ‘art’.
“She is playing characters - she isn't playing Nicole Kidman," they said.
"Keith isn't wincing during these types of scenes; he knows it is just part of the story," the source added. "He removes himself from seeing her as his wife and supports her and enjoys the work."
Some details of the famous couple’s divorce are not yet known, with fans already speculating on how they may split their large net worths or divvy up their multiple homes across the world.

The father-of-two, however, could be in for a huge payday, due to a prenuptial clause the pair reportedly signed before tying the knot in 2006.

Dubbed the ‘cocaine clause’, the section allegedly claims that Urban, who has been candid in the past about his alcohol and drug abuse, would receive a staggering $600,000 from Kidman for every year they were married, and in which he said no to the vices.
That works out at just over $11 million, if the ‘cocaine clause’ is correct.

Neither Kidman, who was named the highest paid actress in the world by Forbes in 2024, nor the four-time Grammy-winning artist will be paying ‘any amount and/or form of alimony or spousal support to the other’, according to court documents obtained by E! News.
It's said that Kidman has requested to be the ‘primary residential parent’ to the couple's daughters, with both parents having signed off on the plan that will see Sunday and Faith spending 306 days a year with Kidman, and 59 days with Urban.
