It's less than two months until the eagerly-anticipated sequel to sci-fi blockbuster Dune hits the silver screen.

And whilst the majority of movie buffs can't wait to see what director Denis Villeneuve has in store for us this time around, other fans have been unable to contain their amusement of one particular brand of Dune 2 merchandise.

We shouldn't be surprise at the staggering amount and variation of the products that will eventually be released to get viewers hyped for the upcoming film.

But as we say, there's one particular item that have set tongues wagging all over the world for a rather 'x-rated' reason.

That's because cinema-goers will soon have the chance to reportedly purchase a limited edition Dune themed bucket of popcorn, complete with an 'Easter egg' from the first movie.

But this isn't your ordinary sweet n' salty treat, as it supposedly features a lid in the shape of one of Arrakis' giant worms, which have layers upon layers of razor-sharp teeth.

The popcorn buckets are supposed to resemble deadly worms.
IMDB/Warner Bros.

The worm's mouth is actually an opening for the cinema-goer to reach into the bucket and take a handful of popcorn.

Instead of fearing the mini version of these brutal blockbuster beasts, however, fans have been left in tears of laughter after noticing the bucket's unfortunate resemblance to a 'fleshlight'.

And for those who aren't exactly sure what is meant by one of these intimacy aids, I suggest you use your imagination.

Think about what else could be squeezed down the rippled hole... That's it, I can't give anymore hints!

Here it is in all it's glory.

The bucket is meant to represent a worm's mouth... right?

It has not been officially confirmed where or if these buckets are going to be sold at all - but that hasn't stopped it from being turned into an internet meme.

One person teased: "Me at the theatre for Dune 2 pretending like I can't see the guy seated beside me violating a sand worm".

Someone else joked: "babe are you ok?? you’ve barely f**ked your DUNE 2 promotional popcorn bucket."

A third said: "Just hear me out for a minute."

How about we don't?

The design really put people's minds in the gutter.

"No, we will not have the cursed DUNE popcorn bucket," a fourth joked.

"Now seen half a dozen of you sickos say you will, without any subtlety or innuendo, f**k the DUNE bucket. And all I have to say is…yeah. I think we’re all going to f**k the DUNE bucket." a fifth said.

A sixth wrote: "if only the Dune universe had some sort of box one puts their hand into, but alas: vagina/penis/anus dentata popcorn it is".

While numerous others just commented: "Would."

Some people really need to get their minds out of the gutter.
