A lot of shows get labelled 'the best ever' on Netflix, but there's one that fans have praised as being hands down one of the best - despite the last season being released nearly three years ago.

Of course, the crown of 'best ever' is a fickle one - as there are a whole range of new shows that have been proclaimed the best by viewers.

However, despite this show not having a new season since December 2021, Netflix viewers still believe it has earned it's place in the rankings.

    Talk about a loyal fanbase.

With its fifth and final season happening three years ago, it seems Money Heist has not vacated people's minds yet.

Taking place in Spain, the main premise follows a group of robbers attempting to rob the Royal Mint of Spain in an attempt to carry out the biggest heist in the world.

With police cornering in on them and 67 hostages at their mercy, the group spend 11 days locked in the bank - and they all have nothing left lose.

If that interests you, then watch the trailer here:

Speaking in the Facebook group Netflix Bangers, one person wrote: "BEST series I've *ever* watched I cried at the end because I was so involved with that heist family that I'll miss them in my life."

Another shared: "This is my all time favourite show I’ve watched it so many times."

"One of the BEST series I’ve ever watched!" a third said.

A fourth added: "My personal favorite I have seen it over and over to me it was a masterpiece."

    "Omggggggggg yes." a fifth responded.

And these comments aren't bluffing, as despite Part 4 having come out in 2021, it still remains in Netflix's Top 10 Most Popular Non-English TV Show, sitting comfortably at second place underneath Squid Game.

Speaking of Squid Game, a teaser for season 2 was recently released this year by the streaming service.

The series is still high on Netflix's Top 10 Non English TV list.

The clip sees winner Seong Gi-Hun getting ready to enact sweet revenge on the Squid Game frontman who oversaw the games.

As he walks through an airport, he says on the phone: "You'll regret your decision. I will find you. No matter what it takes."

Despite it only being a brief sneak peek, fans were still excited.

    One X user wrote: "I can't wait!"

Another commented: "I’m here for Squid Game."

And a third added: "Squid Game is gonna be wild."

While the release date hasn't been confirmed yet, Netflix teased that it will be 'coming this year'.

    We'll be waiting in anticipation.
