Warning: Loki 2 spoilers ahead

While Marvel movies and spin-offs are typically quite family friendly, some adults were left shaken up by some recent scenes in Loki 2.

The second season of the show dropped on Disney+ at the beginning of the month and already has an admirable 84 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

And it boasts an all-star cast once again with Tom Hiddleston heading the series, alongside Owen Wilson, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw - as well as season two newcomer, Ke Huy Quan.

The synopsis for the current series reads: "In the present, Loki reunites with Mobius M. Mobius and warns him of the threat posed by the many variants of He Who Remains, the TVA's creator.

"Concurrently, TVA General Dox has several TVA hunters arm themselves, ostensibly to find Sylvie, who caused the Sacred Timeline to branch after killing He Who Remains."

The most recent Loki episode aired last night (26 October), and it's safe to say viewers were shocked with one scene in particular.

The fourth episode saw Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), Miss Minutes (Tara Strong), and Brad/X-5 (Rafael Casal) trying to take control of the TVA for themselves.

In the process, the captured Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors), pruned D-90 (Neil Ellice), and then set their sights on General Dox (Kate Dickie) and her team.

Brad/X-5 grimaced as his friends were murdered.

And things didn't turn out well for General Dox and her colleagues.

In probably one of the most gruesome Marvel Cinematic Universe's deaths to date, Dox and her team were crushed to death inside a shrinking box.

Wasn't expecting that? Neither were most viewers.

"This was by far the most disturbing scene in the entire MCU," one person wrote on X.

"This s**t right here genuinely had me shook."

Someone else added: "‘Along with Miss Minutes giving out that creepy smile while listening to their screams… genuinely horrifying."

"That episode of Loki has left me reeling. What we gonna see next week?! I want it now!" a third added.

One Marvel fan tweeted: "Watching #Loki activated all the stress hormones and bodily responses in me and now I'm knackered."

"I just watched the episode and wtf??? all of them died??????" said another surprised viewer.

Loki viewers labeled the scenes as 'disturbing'.

Away from the goriness of the second series of Loki, some may have noticed that Jonathan Majors is still in the show despite being arrested and accused of assault earlier this year.

Majors has always refuted the claims, however.

Many questioned if he'd feature in the news series in light of his arrest, but producer Kevin Wright said he didn't axe him from the series because 'it felt hasty to do anything without knowing how all of this plays out.'

Loki 2, episode 5 lands on Disney+ on 3 November.
