With how long Jimmy Fallon has been doing chat shows, there's obviously going to be some awkward moments.

Of course, many guests over the years have provided hilarious viewing for folks at home. But not everything goes to plan on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and interviews with Nicole Kidman are a perfect example.

Well, the pair are not exactly strangers. In fact, they actually almost ended up dating.

The duo previously confessed their romantic history in a 2015 interview, with the Fallon admitting he blew the chance to date the actor.

So, the romantic part may not have worked out, but whenever Fallon seems to interview Kidman, viewers know they are in for a treat.

And in a September 2021 interview, the duo brought the laughs once more, though the chat did leave the late night host literally sweating.

During their chat, Fallon congratulated Kidman on celebrating 15 years of marriage with Keith Urban.

The host asked if there were any parties in store for the momentous occasion, but Kidman quickly shut that down.

In fact, the actor expressed her dislike for parties, saying: "I had a surprise party once and I broke out in a cold sore on the spot from the shock. I literally did, it's too stressful."

Fallon agreed with this point of view as he said: "Every now and then, I like a surprise, but not a big one, it has to be a small one. I feel like it's like tricking someone or something and I don't like to do that, so I feel weird. I don't like surprises."

He continued: "I like to know what's happening. I'll act surprised."

Referring a previous interview, Kidman replied: "Yes, we know that," causing Fallon to break into a bit of a sweat.

"Did I just burn you?" Kidman added.

Kidman is certainly not afraid to unleash a 'burn' on Fallon as she did while discussing her husband's Las Vegas concert.

"Which is why I couldn't be with you," she said to Fallon while referencing his appearance.

"Because I chose him. I mean—in terms of the Vegas, and yeah, to be here," she added.

This is just one of many iconic Fallon interviews, including the moment the TV presenter saw his ‘career flash before his eyes’ after an extremely awkward moment that almost got him canceled.
