Jennifer Coolidge has revealed she wants her husband to have a horrific death scene in the next season of The White Lotus.
**Spoiler alerts ahead**
Ah, it’s the season finale that consumed all of social media.
No matter where you turned, you couldn’t miss Tanya coming face-to-face with those infamous gays hired to kill her by her husband, Greg.
Tanya chaotically wielded a gun and managed to kill them off one-by-one just off the Italian coast.
But, just when we think our beloved heiress is out of the woods, Tanya clumsily jumped off the yacht and hit her head on a dingy.
Ever since her body washed up on the sparkling Tyrrhenian Sea, we’ve been praying for Greg’s comeuppance.
And Coolidge is praying too.
“My hope for Jon [Gries, who plays Greg] is that he’s not finished with Greg,” Coolidge said.
“I hope there’s some comeuppance for evil Greg. I think he should, I don’t know, end up in a meat-grinding machine.”
Honestly, get her in that writer’s room because that would be a sight.
“If Tanya could come back in any form, maybe she could come back as a seagull and poke Greg’s eyes out,” Coolidge added.
However, the comedian admitted she was quite spooked while filming the murderous sequence.
So don’t expect to see her on a yacht anytime soon.
“We had to reshoot that a bunch of times. ‘Where’s the gun? The inside of the bag is black. I can’t find it.’ But it all felt real. When you’re on a boat and you’re in the middle of the ocean and there is nowhere to go, what if your cast mates hate you? They could just push you. Anyone can get rid of you on a boat,” she said.
It was rumored earlier this year that The White Lotus season three would take place in Thailand.
Variety reported the upcoming instalment would feature hotspots such as Ko Samui, Ko Pha Ngan and Ko Tao.
And what’s in store for the plot? Well, White already teased the themes he would explore in the show’s next chapter in an interview with HBO.
“The first season kind of highlighted money, and then, the second season is sex. And I think the third season it would be maybe a kind of satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality. And it feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus,” he said.
