Over recent weeks, fans have been speculating that Taron Egerton could be in line to replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine - but others think he could face competition from one of the breakout stars of Stranger Things.
The Welsh actor has come in for a heap of praise following the release of his new prison drama, Black Bird.
Aside from his abilities as a performer, viewers have been taken aback by his physical transformation, with the 32-year-old getting incredibly buff for the role.

It left many remarking that he's just a couple of chunky mutton chops away from becoming one of the X-Men in a future iteration of the long-running movie franchise.
Putting forward their argument for Taron, one fan wrote: "Really enjoy the Kingsman movies but I had no idea Taron Egerton could actually act the way he is in #BlackBird — definitely sold on him as Wolverine now."
But now another name has been thrown into the ring, with many claiming they've found a better fit for the part than Taron.

While he may have played a pretty nasty piece of work in Stranger Things, some think that actor Dacre Montgomery - better known to fans as Billy Hargrove - is the man for the job.
"Dacre Montgomery for Wolverine pls," wrote one.
Backing the idea, another said: "I feel like Dacre Montgomery would be a good actor to play Wolverine but I think Marvel is gonna choose someone shorter."

"Dacre Montgomery is my dream Wolverine fan casting," wrote a third.
While yet another added: "Billy from Stranger Things (Dacre Montgomery) should play Wolverine in the MCU, in my opinion."
Despite the calls for Dacre to take on the role, however, there's a feeling that it could be the Brit who gets the gig.
Speaking previously about the part, the Kingsman actor said he'd be up for it.

When asked by The New York Times if he could be take it on, Taron said: "I don’t think it would be wrong to say that.
"I’d be excited but I’d be apprehensive as well, because Hugh is so associated with the role that I’d wonder if it’d be very difficult for someone else to do it."

He added: "But hopefully if it does come around, they’ll give me a shot."
And after Kevin Feige announced that the X-Men would become part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he told Variety: "I love Marvel and I love the movies and I'd love the excuse to get in shape.
"I'd love to be a part of it - whether [Wolverine] is realistic or not, I don't know."
But I guess we'll just have to wait and see who gets the part.
