Five underrated Brad Pitt films you can watch right now as 'thrilling' F1 movie hits theaters
Brad Pitt is undeniably one of the biggest names in Hollywood, having starred in a series of blockbuster movies over the decades.
Some of Pitt's best known work includes Mr & Mrs Smith, which he starred in alongside his ex wife Angelina Jolie, as well as Moneyball, Fight Club, Troy, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button — to name a few.
According to IMDb, Pitt has starred in 50 films in his acting career. While he's been in the industry for years, it wasn't until Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood, released in 2019, that Pitt won his first Oscar.
He starred in the critically acclaimed film (which boasts an admirable 86 percent on Rotten Tomatoes) alongside a stellar cast made up of Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, The Substance's Margaret Qualley, and Elvis star Austin Butler.

Pitt's newest release F1 The Movie hits theaters today (June 27) and, like many of his movies, has been pretty well received so far.

At the time of writing it has a near-perfect score of 98 percent on Rotten Tomatoes' Popcornmeter.
One person who gave it a five-star review penned: "If you ever loved Brad Pitt, this is for you!"
"Thrilling experience. Real treat for F1 fans," added another, while somebody else insisted that people go see it in IMAX.
By the sounds of things, F1 is set to become another huge success for Pitt to add to his already long list, but there are some of his movies he's not as well known for but are still-well loved by his fans and by critics.

5) Wolfs
While Wolfs is one of Pitt's most recent movies, it arguably didn't get as much as press as some of his others (F1 and Bullet Train, for example).
For the film, best pals and former Ocean's 11 co-stars Pitt and George Clooney reunite.
The IMD description reads: "Two rival fixers cross paths when they're both called in to help cover up a prominent New York official's misstep. Over one explosive night, they'll have to set aside their petty grievances and their egos to finish the job."
Having seen Wolfs myself, I throughly enjoyed it and believe it's a great Saturday night-watch with a bowl of popcorn. Clooney and Pitt's relationship in it is extremely comical, as any movie with the pair of them together often is.
Wolfs garnered just 67 percent on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomotatometer, but audiences gave it 72 percent.
Wolfs is available to stream on AppleTV+.
4) Meet Joe Black
With this 1998 movie wasn't a home-run with critics, audiences liked it a lot. It had just 47 percent on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomotatometer, but a more admirable 81 percent score when it comes to all audience's reviews. One fan likes it so much that they say Meet Joe Black is one of their 'top 10 favourite movies'.
Not only does Pitt star in the movie, but Hollywood legend Anthony Hopkins (Hannibal) is in it too.
Hopkins plays Bill Parish in Meet Joe Black, a businessman approaching his 65th birthday who is then visited by death (portrayed by Pitt in human form as Joe Black).
Joe is man who has recently died and he makes a deal with Bill to give the soon-to-be 65-year-old an extra few days of life, so Joe can get to know what it's like to be human. During this time, Joe falls in love with Bill's daughter...

3) Killing Them Softly
Another of Pitt's lesser-known and underrated movies is Killing Them Softly, which hit theaters in 2012.
It has long divided reviews on the platform. While it's usually the critics who are less generous with their scores, this time it was the audience who gave Killing Them Softly just 45 percent. Ouch. However, in a stark contrast, critics gave it 74 percent.
Two late, great actors starred in the movie with Pitt: Ray Liotta (Goodfellas) and James Gandolfini (The Sopranos).
Based on the novel 'Trade', Killing Them Softly is about an illegal poker game run by Markie Trattman [Liotta] for the mafia, when sh*t hits the fan after hired hitman Jackie Cogan [Pitt] is called in to investigate.
Should you want to watch Killing Them Softly for yourself, you'll have to do so quickly as it's set to leave Pluto TV in just a few days time.
2) Burn After Reading
A Coen Brothers classic, Burn After Reading is another Pitt movie that may have fallen off your radar but is worth a watch.
Debuting back in 2008, the movie marks another of Clooney and Pitt's on-screen collaborations. Frances McDormand (Fargo), John Malkovich (In the Line of Fire), Tilda Swinton (Doctor Strange), and J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) also star.
The crime comedy is about a pair of two gym employees who manage to get their hands on a CD containing the anti-CIA tirades of an ex-CIA analyst.
They plan to blackmail the former analyst into giving them cash for the CD, but when this fails the duo offer it to the Russian authorities instead.
Burn After Reading has an impressive 78 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes is currently streaming on Netflix.
1) Fury
In my opinion, Fury is one of Pitt's movies that has the most stellar of casts — sorry, Clooney.
The Accountant 2 favorite Jon Bernthal stars in the 2014 war film, with Shia LaBouf (Transformers), Logan Lerman (Perks Of Being a Wallflower), Michael Peña (End of Watch), and Jason Issacs (Harry Potter) being just some of the famous faces you'll recognize in Fury.
But what is the film about, I hear you ask? Per IMDb, Fury's about 'a grizzled tank commander makes tough decisions as he and his crew fight their way across Germany in April, 1945'.
Both critics and audiences liked Fury with it getting 76 percent and 84 percent scores on Rotten Tomatoes.
Fury is currently on Prime Video but will be exiting the platform in just three days time so, if you do anything this weekend, watch Fury.
