Whilst most of us struggle to remember what we did just last week, one young boy claims he has vivid memories from his past life.

Despite being just a ten-year-old at the time, in 2015 Ryan Hammond insisted that he remembered being a Hollywood actor in the forties and fifties.

He also claimed he had been reincarnated, with the youngster giving detailed accounts of his past life.

What makes this story even creepier is the fact that Hammond was raised over 1,300 miles away from Hollywood Hills in Oklahoma.

He made the claims back in 2015 at the tender age of ten, with Hammond recalling his life as a famous actor.

The youngster even alleged that he was punched by Marilyn Monroe's bodyguards during his past life.

If that doesn't make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck, the boy even remembered how he died - saying his heart 'exploded' before he headed towards 'the light'.

Beginning as a humble movie extra, Martyn later became a successful Tinsel Town agent. Living a life of luxury in New York, he would go on to wed five times and regularly holidayed in Paris.

Martyn suffered from a brain haemorrhage in 1964 and shortly after this, passed away at the age of 61.

Forty years later, Hammond claimed to be the reincarnation of the Hollywood actor and said he began experiencing these past life memories as a three-year-old.

Understandably though, his parents didn't believe him at first.

However, the young boy would repeatedly beg his mother to take him to Los Angeles to 'visit his other family'.

Desperate for answers, his mum bought him the book Hollywood from a local library - thinking it would help her son.

Upon seeing a photograph of Marty Martyn, the young lad instantly 'recognised himself' and noted that he 'did a picture' with fellow actor George Raft.

When Hammond was six, he was introduced to Marty's daughter by a documentary crew. He was shown around Los Angeles to visit places associated with the late actor - whose daughter confirms the youngster's claims were accurate.

Child psychiatrist Dr Jim Tucker even believes Hammond's claims that he was reincarnated and dedicated a chapter in his book Return to Life to Hammond's case.

Dr Tucker said: "The world just doesn't work as we think or assume it does. The cases I have examined don't come under a normal explanation of how we perceive the world."

Although scientists have not been able to prove either way if reincarnation occurs, many people have claimed to have past-life memories.
