Strange footage - which appears to have gone viral - shows an apparent cluster of UFOs in the sky 'darting back and forth'.

Of course, the discussion surrounding UFOs is one that has been talked about for many decades.

There are a lot of conspiracy theories surrounding the matter, and as such, a lot of heated debates have taken place over the years.

Now, one person has uploaded some mysterious footage of an apparent sighting to Reddit, which saw objects 'flying very high above Philadelphia'.

"Just saw a cluster of multicolored lights flying very high above Philadelphia," the Reddit user penned.

"They seemed to be combining with one another, spinning, and darting back and forth. My wife wouldn't stop driving so it was hard to film them. Apologies for the Hozier."

It's not exactly clear what the strange objects lurking in the sky actually are as they are rather hard to make out due to the camera panning from side to side.

Nonetheless, many have flocked to speculate on what the 'sighting' may mean.

"Next time you see UFO's in the sky, please, politely, tell your wife to STOP THE F**KING CAR!!!! lol," one user joked.

"Interesting. That would have been a sight to see. I wish she would have stopped," a second added.

"Watching that frame-by-frame is actually really crazy. At one point you can see two of them merging together like you mentioned. Crazy sh*t. Doesn’t look like birds to me," a third remarked.

The footage is rather bizarre.

It comes after a Miami mall was temporarily closed by police following online rumors of an alleged 'alien' sighting.

Multiple videos emerged on the likes of TikTok and Facebook of people fleeing the Bayside Marketplace, a shopping centre in downtown Miami.

Videos showed utter panic in the US city on New Year's Day as police and sirens circled the area.

Many people speculated potential UFO activity for all the chaos, though that wasn't the case.

In a statement, police said they were responding to reports that a group of more than 50 juveniles were fighting in the mall - leading to officers being dispatched 'for crowd control due to the juveniles refusing to leave'.

The group also set off fireworks, which sent many shoppers into panic as they feared a shooting had broken out.

Businesses were also temporarily shut as a result of the mayhem, with four teenagers subsequently arrested, according to NBC Miami.
