It's even getting to the point where it's become difficult to distinguish what is real and what has been created through AI.

The term 'mukbang' comes from South Korea, with the trend a combination of the Korean words for 'eating' and 'broadcast'.
One woman decided to take part in the trend, as a viral eight-second clip sees her sitting in front of an assortment of seafood. The woman picked up what looked to be a lobster claw and put the whole thing in her mouth, impressively swallowing it with just one bite.
"Y'all, this about to get messy but it's gon' be worth it," she explained to the camera, before adding: "Nah, this hit a little different."
The video is AI-generated, with a pot of sauce seen coming out of the claw she was holding, which may be an obvious giveaway.

While a third quipped: "AI is getting way too good, bruh. The only tell was that she ate the bone."
Whatever the future holds for AI, there's no doubt the world will be watching on with a mixture of excitement and dread.
