What a day to be named Andy Byron.

On the off chance you've not heard this name in the past 24 hours, it's the name of the CEO of the New York-based company Astronomer, who was featured on the big screen at Coldplay's recent gig in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Wednesday (July 16).

Byron is married, but he attended the gig with his employee Kristin Cabot, who is the Chief People Officer of Astronomer.

In footage that has now gone viral, Byron was spotted on the camera standing behind Cabot with his arms around her, while she leaned back into his chest and held onto his hands.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin called attention to the pair as they appeared on the screen, but the musician was left baffled when Cabot suddenly moved to cover her face, and Byron dropped to the ground and disappeared from the frame.

The incident has resulted in a lot of attention on Byron - but of course, he's not the only Andy Byron out there.

As members of the public sought to find out more about Byron online, it seems they accidentally stumbled upon another businessman who also happens to be called Andy Byron.

I'll refer to this new guy as Andy, to try and avoid confusion.

Having apparently been flooded with attention after the Coldplay video, Andy took to LinkedIn to assure people that he wasn't the same Andy Byron who had appeared in the footage - not only because he's a different person, but also because he 'wouldn't be caught dead at a Coldplay concert'.

Sorry, Chris Martin.

In his post, Andy said of the viral video: "No, this isn't me."

The businessman then went on to make the most of the attention by promoting his own motion graphics design business, writing: "I'm the Andy Byron who makes videos for big screens, not the one who gets caught on them.

"If you want to make video content that goes viral for the right reasons, let's connect. check Stylo Motion Design."

To really make sure he wasn't mistaken for Byron, Andy also updated his bio on LinkedIn to say: "NOT THE GUY FROM THE COLDPLAY GIG!!Owner/Creative Director at Stylo Motion Design."

Andy has been praised for his response to the sudden influx of attention, with one LinkedIn user writing: "This is so good."

After Andy's post went viral, he added a comment which read: "My wife is going to be so happy when I tell her that I won LinkedIn for a day."
