Manager praised after standing up for employee who was being prank filmed by TikToker

The manager definitely didn't think this customer was 'always right'

A manager at a fast food restaurant has been showered with praise after standing up for his employee as she was being bothered by a group of customers filming her.

The rise in popularity of TikTok and Instagram Live has unfortunately brought with it a society in which we're pretty likely to be caught on camera fairly often - whether you're the subject of a video or not.

People have taken it upon themselves to start filming strangers in the hope of creating content, but when one fast food worker was presented with a camera in her face while she was just trying to do her job, she wasn't having it.

In a clip shared online, the employee made clear that she wasn't happy being recorded, telling the person behind the camera: "When I hop over this counter and break that camera you're going to be mad, so stop f**king recording me."

Seemingly not wanting to give up on whatever video they were hoping to get, one of the other customers ignored her request and demanded that the employee give him the milkshake he'd ordered.

"Make my milkshake and chill out," he responded.

The manager got involved when the employee refused again, but while some higher-ups might have berated the employee for swearing at the customer, this particular hero made it clear he was on her side.

"You want to stand here? You stand here, but we're not making nothing," the manager told the customers after ushering the employee away from the counter.

The manager refused to put up with the customers.

I don't doubt that there would have been another fast food restaurant in the nearby area that would have been able to make the demanding customer a milkshake after he was turned away, but no, apparently he wanted one from here, or nothing.

"I'll go back there myself and make a damn milkshake motherf**ker," the customer said while chuckling to himself, but the manager was absolutely not amused, shouting: "Get the f**k out of here."

The manager has been flooded with support after the clip of the altercation was shared online, with one Reddit user writing: "I love this manager so much."

They continued: "None of the 'the customer is always right,' or, 'make the moment right' c**p I've heard so much. He put his employees first and I would happily work for that man over some managers I've experienced! If I had to go back to the service industry I'd find his store lol."

Another added: "Honestly a great manager makes a massive difference in work life."

What a boss!
